    Hello, welcome! I'm glad you've found yourself here. Let me try and answer a few questions you might have to save you from posting.

    Q: Are there any issues I might encounter when I upgrade to the latest version of this mod?

    If you use Classic Remnants Power Armor, make sure you have updated to version 2.2.1.

    If you choose the option to give Elder Maxson power armor at all times mid-game, you will have to follow these instructions. The same set of instructions can be followed for Pyro.

    If you are installing from a much earlier version of the mod, you may see naked enemies. If this happens, go to an interior cell and run this to get the game to refresh all of the spawned enemies:

    Q: Are you working on any updates?

    A: Nope, nothing else is planned.

    Let me know if you want to see another power armor set for Elder Maxson.

    Q: Will you add power armor set X or a patch for mod Y?

    A: Probably not. I don't plan on doing much modding going forward.

    If a cool new power armor set comes out, feel free to let me know about it in the comments - maybe I'll add support for it.

    Q: Will this mod work with the Next Gen Update?

    A: Yes, it works. Use the Next Gen option in the installer. 

    All releases are compatible with both the old version of the game and the next gen version.

    Q: I installed the mod, but it's not working!

    A: Sort your mods. This is the #1 reason why people experience crashes.

    Are you using the 4K ESP version of T-65? That's not supported. Use the 4K/2K ESL T-65 or the 2K ESP T-65, otherwise you will experience crashes.

    If that doesn't work, check the Troubleshooting Guide to look for an answer. If you don't see one, check the Bugs section of this page to see if there is already a solved bug related to your issue.

    Q: Why can't I configure the Brotherhood of Steel power armor spawn rate?

    A: There are a lot of Brotherhood of Steel overhauls, and this would cause a lot of conflicts that I'm not interested in trying to deal with. They are also the most complicated faction, with many ranks and roles, and people have different ideas about how all of them should be outfitted.

    If you want most of them to wear power armor, you can use the mod RobCo Patcher - Brotherhood of Steel Overrides - Power Armor and Weapon Redistribution, select the T-60 option for whichever NPCs you want to wear power armor, and install the compatibility patch from the Power Armor to the People installer.

    When you see a legendary enemy, one of the items they have equipped will be legendary. This includes power armor. Legendary robots drop components for upgrading your equipment with legendary effects, legendary ghouls drop wearable trinkets with a benefit and disadvantage, legendary animals drop mutated organs with potent one-time use effects, and the loot you find in boss chests and Master-locked safes just might be legendary.

    i wonder if one of the NG creation club content got updated and its causing the game to crash at the main menu
    cause they can push creation club updates on there without updating the game.

      Hm... i wonder if it's a BA2 limit or something else 
      i have about 486 BA2 archives and 87 Active plugins and 248 Light plugins.

      Hm.. the game was working fine in 03 May 2025
      when i installed VTAC REDUX SS - Vault-Tec Advanced Combat Sharpshooter Set  and it was still fine on 28 May 2025, 2:36PM when that mod updated.
      after that i got bored and nuked my game install now its July 9 and wanted to play again and not much has changes with mods
      that i use.
      (small note) that was the last mod i installed and i did have "Power Armor to the People" installed and it was working fine.

      (7/9/2025) Hm... i wonder if i had a mod that had an updated LL4Play but got rid of it, owell.

    two things
    1) do the options to remove the unused grenade effects from both this and your more legendary effects mods clear enough space for both mods? EDIT: i found the github section, seems i need to disable a single legendary effect from the mods to be good to go. at least if i can do basic math. 30 unused to be removed and a base of 20 extra. with 16 from PATTP with unique effects disabled as it is by default and 35 from more legendary effects mod. ill get rid of stockpilers to avoid temptation to abuse it to generate infinite ammo for large capacity guns.

    2) does anyone know how to get the popups at the start to happen after the condensation on the mirror disappears? i cant see what im doing. i made a save without mods and then turned them on but im not sure if thats safe so i just memorized the menus but id like a better way

      I didn't realize that could happen. Do you have a screenshot of what it looks like? That menu gets triggered if one of the mods tries to insert legendary effects and the list is full, so it's going to happen if all of those mods are installed and it fills up. I would need to change the quests to wait until later to avoid that problem.

      If you start without mods and then add them, that's okay. If you do it too late it can make some NPCs naked, see the stickied post on how to address that if you need to.

      Another way to solve it is to use LL4Play if you're not on Next Gen (or find a version of it that works on Next Gen) since that increases the maximum list size. This is probably why I've never seen the problem.

      i have a screenshot but using the insert image feature in this chat box doesent seem to work so ill just put it in the message itself https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3514991447 its just a white screen as the foggy mirror effect seems to be in front of the menus and wont go away untill the menus close to unpause the game
      i wasent able to find a next gen version of the ll4play mod sadly

    im a lil confused, so unique effects dont contribute to the 128 legendary effect limit as long as its part of that certain piece of gear and not in the pool for legendary enemy loot? im thinking of adding children of atom power armor but im not sure if the three unique effects would count for the 128 limit

      The limit only applies to effects that can be randomly chosen for legendary items because that limit affects script arrays and a script makes the legendary items. The limit doesn't apply to how many unique/legendary effects can appear in the game, so the unique effects on Children if Atom power armor will be fine.

    No matter what I do, the mod. Keeps crashing my game got it to work one time and I thought, cool, because I had to disable all of the creation club stuff. Then I installed some of The Mods that work with it with some of the paint jobs and some of the armor but every time I load it now, crashes can't do anything. I don't know what i'm doing wrong, but I just don't know what to do. And I have used this mod before, about two years ago and I worked fine, but I have clicked so many buttons, categories, reinstall, uninstall, everything
    I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
    And I like this mod, when it worked. I don't know if I'm just being stupid or what. so if there is advice from any please let me now.

      Did you look at the troubleshooting guide? It has the most common issues and instructions to use Buffout 4 and provide the crash log if it still doesn't work.

    game hard crashes when starting up and buffout 4 dosent work on my pc, and none of the trouble shooting tips have worked but im not gunna bother trying to get it working. just wanted to say my peace it looked cool to bad it dont work.

    Noticed a few errors while roaming in xEdit. :O
    the Equalizer power armor PATTP_ListInjection_EqualizerPA has FormID -> [FE073803] <Error: Could not be resolved>
    the Liberty power armor has INNR errors.

      The compatibility section for that mod says what kinds of things it is incompatible with, and it looks like there would need to be a patch for these two to work together properly.

      I have a compatibility patch for that mod, but that is only if you want to have the unique encounter added by it. Otherwise, my mod offers the same features and more. It was a major inspiration for my mod and formed the foundation of how I originally gave NPCs power armor, but they are very different from each other now.

      My mod adds significantly more types of power armor for all of the factions, adds power armor to more factions, adds legendary power armor (including many new effects that are only for power armor), adds unique power armor throughout the world, adds power armor to vendors, and adds some unique NPCs wearing power armor like The Collector, a traveling merchant who sells legendary power armor. I also have a modular installer and configuration system to change spawn rates, what factions have each set of power armor, etc.

      If all you want is for Gunners and Raiders to be able to wear T-45, T-51, T-60, and X-01, the mod you linked will do that for you. If you want any of the other features above, use mine instead.

    If I'm upgrading from Version 1.2.0 with game version 1.10.163 and F4SE 0.6.21 would it be recommended to do the newest version? or should I just stay with what I have installed. I know it's been quite a while so if the new version has a high chance to bugger up my game please let me know lol

      If you're doing this mid-game, keeping what you have is the safest. Upgrading to the latest version would probably work - I've never tested it directly but there are compatibility patches that have been maintained - though you would need to follow the instructions in the stickied post to reset NPCs because some of them may not be wearing clothes.
