About this mod

Adds 20 new legendary effects for weapons and 15 new legendary effects for armor. Individually configurable with MCM so you can choose what effects you want in your game.

Changelogs
Brand new legendary effects, some from or inspired by Fallout 76 and some completely original, for both weapons and armor. Spice up your game!

If you use Mod Configuration Menu, you can turn each effect on and off so you can just take the ones that you want. If you want to turn off some of the legendary effects from the base game and Far Harbor, you can do so with Legendary Effect Configuration.

If you use a mod that enables legendary power armor, such as Power Armor to the People, many of these effects will be available on power armor as well. Patches would be required to provide proper names if using something besides Power Armor to the People, however.

Some effects require F4SE. If you don't have F4SE installed, these effects will not be added to your game.

Patches

The following patches are bundled in the installer:

  • Stuff of Legend - Adds the legendary effects from this mod to the legendary mods that can be dropped by robots in Stuff of Legend. Requires Stuff of Legend 1.1.0.

Naming Rules

There are two options in the installer for naming rules: scripted or hard-coded. Scripted naming rules get merged when the game first loads and stay in your game, and hard-coded naming rules are in a patch.

The scripted approach is recommended if you aren't using a sorting mod or if you are using R88 Simpler Sorter. Scripted naming rules don't require any patches, making them generally easier to use, but can only be done if you aren't using a sorting mod that moves where the legendary effect is in the name. There is a patch for R88 included in the installer that allows for scripting to still work in this case, but any patches for sorting mods need to be installed before the first time this mod runs for them to take effect. Additionally, the scripted method can automatically apply the legendary names to power armor if you are using Power Armor to the People.

The hard-coded approach is recommended if you are using any other sorting mod that moves where the legendary effect is in an item's name. This approach will at least prevent strange names, but new patches would need to be created for your particular sorting mod. This option can also be chosen if you prefer to manually merge your naming rules in your setup. This option does not provide any naming rules for power armor, if you are using Power Armor to the People.
