About this mod
For Survival players. A patch that allows you to refill your canteen in any water source with purified water or dirty water (depending on the source). It uses in-game mechanism for refilling empty bottles. Requires main mod, which is Canteens of The Commonwealth

This is a patch for Canteens of The Commonwealth mod by meysamkhr, you can download it HERE.
This patch changes canteens to be refillable with any water source, just like empty bottles in base game (eg. water pumps, sinks, rivers etc.)
However, vanilla bottles no longer can be refilled any more. It's game limit that cannot be bypassed without custom scripting and more advanced edits to source mod. But who need bottles anyway, canteen is everything you might require!
Base mod offers different canteens with different textures. For now I make only one version available, a military one (a green canteen, no decals). It's forced by in-game method of handling refillable bottles. For now only way of changing appearance it's to rename texture that is used to it.

Survival Options mod is not compatible
Advanced Needs 76 mod is not compatible
Probably any mod that alter HC_Manager quest or water bottles refilling will be incompatible (Give me that bottle probably will not work well with it, because it's a sort of replacer for it)

This mod does not fix any issues that are present in base mod, so be advised

- allows you to refill canteen with water from water pumps, sinks, rivers etc. (canteen needs to be empty or be maximum at 5/6 uses);
- no longer need to wash canteen after use - you get empty canteen ready to be filled with any type of water, straight away;
- canteen can be switched to another type of water just by filling it by water source (if uses left are between 1/6 and 5/6);
- crafting of canteen is available at chem station (required resources are the same as in base mod);
- recipes for filling canteen with purified water or dirty water (aid items in inventory) are moved to chem station (dirty water) and cooking station (purified water);
- refilling at chem station or cooking station requires empty canteen;
- you no longer can refill empty bottles from vanilla game, these are simply a junk now;
How to install:
- Install Canteens of The Commonwealth from HERE;
- Place MK_CanteensofCommonwealth_TheRefillPatch.esp in the Fallout 4/Data folder;
- Set it to load after the MK_CanteensofCommonwealth.esp;
