THIS IS A FIRST RELEASE!

THIS MOD IS NOW COMPLETELY STANDALONE AND INCLUDES THE ENTIRE RELEASED N7 ARMORS IVE MADE

Big thanks to vatiwah for featuring me in his Mod Showcase, have a look below and subscripe to his channel for more great reviews!

AS OF UPDATE 1.2, This mod will now work with my other mod:
Better Armor and Weapon Naming by Ruddy88
Also, id like to list a quick link to tealZ - Legendary Modification, it is not necessary to use this mod but it will allow you to add legendary modifications to your armor and weapons, this is currently the only way to get legendaries on my armor set as I haven't edited my armor in to any levelled lists for it to appear naturally, due to compatibility issues with anything else that edits levelled lists.

New textures are still coming, just trying out some rather heavy work within the game engine before I work on the textures...

UPDATE V1.6!!!!
Ok, this is the one you were waiting for. It should fix all the issues had with not spawning heavy variants of the armor. This was all due to an issue with how OBTS items are decoded in FO4Edit, took a good couple of hours of scratching heads to find it, thanks to GhostiFish for finally picking up on it.
Anyway, should all be working fine now.

ALSO: WEAVES!!!! you asked for it. Ballistic weaves Mk1-5 have now been added to the Vaultsuit, and as a little bonus I put them on the Military Cap as well. Theres a catch though. You cant put ANY weaves on until you hit level 25, unless your smart enough to figure out how to console in the loose mod item ;) - However, the Railroad requirements have been removed. The component costs are still the same so you will still need to hunt down the ballistic weaves to craft it.

A quick note on console commands to add items. This entire collection has been stripped down. When you spawn a set in the ONLY variable will be the SIZE variant on armors. No other attachments will spawn, thats just how I made it, for future plans, but you can still craft all upgrades yourself at any armor bench with the same requirements and costs as usual! So don't whinge and complain because you cant get a shadowed version or a weave version by console commands.

Future patches will add a bit more balance to the mix, by adding different level requirements for each weave as well as adjusting level requirements for the rest of the upgrade system (including sizes... deal with it!) Heavy armor is not SUPPOSED to turn up until later in the game and my mod WILL reflect that in the future. The idea of this mod, will be that of a base unit that you receive early on, and keep with you til the end, slowly building it up to be that epic badass armor you ought to have by end game.

UPDATE V1.4/1.5:
Just a minor fix for some missing textures on the Male coloured underlays (vaultsuits), that was my bad, changed filenames incorrectly, should be working fine now.

UPDATE V1.3:
* Added all 3 colours of N7 Underlay (Vaultsuit)
* Added gloves (Darker version of Preston Garveys Minutemen gloves)
* The vaultsuit now uses the meshes and normal maps from Vault Booty, You dont need that mod for this mod to work, but I strongly suggest going and grabbing it, it makes the female vaulsuit much more... curvacious.

UPDATE V1.2:
* Added craftable armor sizes, using the same method as Craftable Armor Size
* Added compatibility to Legendary Modification. This is the only way I know how you can get Legendary items without me editing levelled lists (which I wont do due to other mods conflicting)
* Removed BoS upgrades, they were not necessary.
* Added Upgrade support to all armor versions. Not all Armors will have a full range of available mods (Military cap will only have MATERIAL mods, Vaultsuit (N7 Underlay) will only have default Vaultsuit upgrades).

UPDATE V1.1
- Added in all armature combinations of armor, now available as light, medium and heavy. Randomly chooses variant when spawned in through console. Support coming for craftable armor sizes.
Added upgrade support for main armor.

IMPORTANT!

TO GET THE ARMOR, OPEN UP THE CONSOLE AND TYPE "HELP N7 4" THIS WILL SHOW ALL THE ITEM IDS FOR THE ITEMS.
THEN TYPE "PLAYER.ADDITEM XXXXXXXX" WHERE THE X'S REPRESENT THE ITEM ID, FOR EACH OF THE ITEMS TO ADD IT TO YOUR INVENTORY.
I WILL BE ADDING A CONTAINER SOON WITH THE ITEMS INSIDE.

ANYONE EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTY WITH UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION, SOME THINGS, LIKE NAMES, MAY NEED TO 'UPDATE' BEFORE THEY CHANGES TAKE EFFECT. TO DO SO, EITHER ATTEMPT TO PLACE AN ATTACHMENT OF SOME SORT ON THE ITEM, OR JUST ADD NEWER VERSIONS THROUGH THE COMMAND CONSOLE!

ANYONE HAVING TROUBLES WITH TEXTURES NOT SHOWING UP, OR SHOWING AS DEFAULT, THIS IS EITHER A PROBLEM ON YOUR END AND YOU WILL NEED TO READ ON TO SEE HOW TO ENABLE MODS OR IT IS A FAULT WITH NMM NOT INSTALLING CORRECTLY. THE FIX FOR THIS SEEMS TO BE TO REINSTALL THROUGH NMM, GENERALLY IT WILL WORK THE SECOND TIME.

ENABLING MODS:
Edit your Fallout4.ini and change the following entries. If the entry doesnt exist, you can create one yourself, just make sure it falls under the same heading (headings are enclosed in square brackets):

[ARCHIVE]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=

^^^ LEAVE sResourceDataDirsFinal BLANK, The old way required you to type in the names of the folders but using bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 now makes it not necessesary, so leave it blank. If you have problems using this method (very rare) then revert to the old way of enabling mods.

IF YOU LIKE THE MOD, COME BACK AND ENDORSE IT! THIS LETS ME KNOW IM DOING SOMETHING RIGHT
AND KEEPS ME MODDING!

DESCRIPTION:
This is my collection of Mass Effect / N7 inspired armor. It is using the combat armor, vaultsuit, military cap and flight helmet vanilla assets that Ive slowly been building up in to something new. This is not a simple 'Black Armor" mod, it is completely standalone, and has been modified to not just alter palette files to a dark colour, but has removed the palette functionality all together to use its own colours in the diffuse textures.
At this stage, the Vaultsuit is 100% complete. The combat armor, which now uses the flight helmet01 as the helmet, is fully useable, but will be updated with more detailed textures in the future. At this stage it consists of carefully balanced specular maps to achieve a semi-matte black metal look by changing the environment mapping in the material file and has had modifications to the mesh to allow individual material files assigned to each arm (necessary for the red and white striped).
Future work will include refining the textures of the combat armor to better reflect the stylings of the Mass Effect armours, with Carbon fibre fabrics, stippled armor plates, extra decals and so on, which will then be added into the specular and normal maps before being uploaded.
Also to come, is my N7 weapons collection which will be uploaded seperately, which will include the laser rifle, institute rifles, 10mm pistol, and of course... an Omni-blade1 (this one is proving troublesome!)
I hope you enjoy my mods, read on for install instructions and compatibility.

Now, Before we go any further, here's a link to a rather awesome new FO4 Machinima by SikSikSikki, Go watch it... immediately. If you're a fan of Red vs Blue then you'll love the style of this, and he's pumping content out rather frequently.

Now back to the mod.

INSTALLATION:
NMM Users - Simply download my file and install with NMM as you usually would. This file does use Fo4Edit to create an ESP, if you have troubles with mods disabling since the patch you will have to look for a workaround, plenty of stuff online about that, this is not an issue with my mod, it is simply a result of the newest FO4 patch.
Manual - Simply drag and drop my files over your data folder and all assets will be added accordingly. Be sure to add the name of the .ESP file to your plugins.txt file (C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/Fallout4/Plugins.txt) and set to read-only when you are done to stop the launcher from resetting your plugins.txt (a result of the recent patch).

COMPATIBILITY:
This mod is standalone and uses all unique meshes, materials and textures, so should not run in to any compatibility issues. In near future, I will be modifying the contents of a container to hold these items which MAY run in to conflicts with any other mods that use this same container (looking at the safe in tha sanctuary basement). Other than that, this mod will use some of the vanilla environment maps (particularly the MipDefaultOutside01-Dielectric) so if any other mod changes these files then it may alter the appearance of the armor, It is highly doubtful that any mods WILL change these files though.
EDIT: As this mod has grown it now utilises more of the vanilla assets and adds even more unique ones (such as armor upgrades), as such, mods that overwrite any of the vanilla assets this mod uses may create compatibility issues or may just simply change behaviours some how, where as mods that change vanilla assets that this mod now uses unique versions of, will not have an effect on this armor set without being patched. In saying that, I always aim to keep compatibility and useability at the top of priorities when modding so hopefully you will have no problems. If you do, please let me know either in a message or in the posts. Please leave bug reports to problems with MY mod and not for compatibility issues with other mods.
