It basically makes it so that you have to hold shift to run, and if you release the key you stop running. This is the default setting in many FPS and other game genre and its what I am most comfortable with. Give it a try if you are used to this type of configuration.
Seems to work in both first and third person for me, as long as I press "W" before holding down "Shift". If I hold down "Shift" before pressing "W", I'll move at regular speeds. That second sentence goes for both first and third person.
Unfortunately, it appears to be broken: hold-to-sprint functionality will work (so I know the mod is having an effect) only until you do something that normally interrupts sprinting, at which point you'll have to release and press sprint again. That's the whole reason I was looking for a mod like this--if I'm holding shift down, I *always* want to be sprinting and *never* want to have to reset the sprint toggle just because something stuns me or I drop off a ledge.
Hey man great mod. Any way to not have AP drain when you are in the air ? After spring jumping ? Yes, you can just stop holding shift i believe but that isnt a very natural thing to do for me. Not a huge deal just thought id post here in case youre interested.
