I hope this wasnt the last of your endeavors in asset creation O:
This, while is certainly far from perfection, is still a very good attempt and shows great promise.
Was most certainly looking forwards to where you would go from here.
(also your hair flower mod is still quite lovely♥)

    OH MY GOD YES.
I originally played F4 on console and once I beat it, I naturally jumped over to mods once they became available. You have no idea how disappointed I was to find there was next to nothing that fulfilled the elegance of the 50's in terms of formal wear. I mean come on! Extravagant ball dresses with flowing skirts and gloves? Seriously, a wasted opportunity.
BUT THIS... Thank you for helping me achieve something I've wanted for YEARS. Now I can have Piper, Curie or any of the mod companions look elegant as hell while mowing down raiders and scum alike.

You're welcome! That's pretty much the exact same experience I had. I originally played on the XB1 and I adore long flowing dresses so I was disappointed when I found so few long dress mods out there. I wanted some so my wife helped me make these. Glad you're enjoying them!

Very well done. May I suggest making the dresses not look so plastic? Other then that they look great.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree do they look kind of plasticy. The program we used to add the material texture layer had a satin option which is what we used since that would be a common material you'd expect for this kind of outfit. This is how it turned out. There are other things we want to try at some point using that program to add imperfections to the dresses to make them look less artificial, but it's much easier said than done. Mostly because the color maps can get rather temperamental when transferring the model back and forth between programs. We have our hands full with other stuff at the moment but we do intend to come back to it eventually.

I certainly would not want to discourage you. The dresses are well done. And I understand some of the software does not always deliver as expected. Then there are ENB problems. Many different ENBs, and they all render things a little differently.
      Keep up the good work
      Cheers

found a bug : when play as a male character, I was trying to change the glove's color in the workbench, it didn't work (color option didn't show up and I can't exit the crafting menu), when I changed to a female character it work

Hi there! Thanks for letting us know about this. We tried this with a male character and were able to reproduce the bug exactly as you described it. The issue was the gloves didn't have what's called a 'bipedal model' assigned to them for male player characters. We assigned the .nif file for the gloves and that appears to have fixed the issue. As a side effect, this means that the gloves will now show up on male characters if you try to equip them but they will not properly fit. This is because the .nif file is still shaped specifically for the female arms since we did not create a male version for the gloves. If you continue to encounter the issue after updating just let us know!

It's from a mod by TrophiHunter called Photo Rooms, found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42509. However, those letters are part of the wall and not separate settlement workshop items that you can place (I'm assuming that's what you're after?). Someone else made a separate mod specifically to make some of the items in the Photo Rooms mod workshop items called Photo Room Workshop Items, found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46863. The description doesn't list any of the actual items made usable so I don't know if that lettering is part of it, but that would probably be your best bet.

The dresses look great! Did you create the cloth physics from scratch, or did you copy it somewhere? I've been looking for a tutorial on how to do it by myself, but I haven't been able to find anything on this.

Thanks, appreciate it! As to the cloth physics... it was a mix of both. We weren't able to find much out there either when we were at that stage of development for this mod. You try to find a vanilla outfit that is similar to whatever outfit you are trying to create and copy over the cloth physics/cloth bone weights. From there it is trial and error with hand painting physics, unfortunately. There's no special trick to it. At least not that we are aware of. If you're looking for how to just do copying or hand painting from a beginner's perspective, just let me know and I could try to explain what programs you can use and where to look.

Thanks for the offer, but I think that's where I'm at currently. I know about bone weights (CLOTH_BN_COAT_whatever), but I'm trying to figure out these BSClothExtraData fields inside the nifs.

These look really good. one version i think that could be added are ones with some kind of imperfection to them, like a little dirt or wrinkles. the dresses are a little too squeaky clean for the commonwealth it seems.

Thank you! I completely agree. In fact, I wanted to have a few wrinkles in them myself, particularly in areas you would expect to see an outfit bunch a little, such as the lower back. Unfortunately, that's easier said than done. We're still learning the design software we're using and it's very easy to go from a nice wrinkle in the program to a horrible jagged nightmare in the actual game. I hope to achieve it eventually, though I'm not sure if it will be for these outfits or future ones. The dirt, however, I may be able to implement sooner. I saw something in one of the tools I used that might allow me to add a dirt effect. I'll put checking that out on my to do list for the first update. Thanks for the suggestion!
