For people like me using FCOM, scribes will not enter vertibirds called by that mod's command radio, but they do if you call the vertibird with a smoke grenade.
I'm using unlimited companion framework and nora spouse mod with fixes and I want her to tag along with me and danse during the BoS missions, will she board the vertibird from cambridge and later the other vertibird on the prydwen? do I need this mod to make that work or will UCF already handle that?
I'm already slightly over 300 mods and running SS2 with the needed patches for XDI and nora spouse mod and unofficial patch is installed.
Unfortunately I don't know but I doubt it. This mod adds the vertibird travel AI only to Scribes, Squires and the Captive. It also makes sure that the companion who uses the vanilla companion slot won't be left behind. Any other NPCs are unaffected by this mod but I don't think other NPCs could find a seat.
Something always annoyed me was that the first greet dialogue option for captive is set as "say once" so it's always: "you are going to help me now right ?" I disabled that flag and added a little fragment and condition to only say that line when you choose (i'll be back for you) but for some reason, editing any dialogue on that quest (MinRecruit02) disable the audio for that line. It become silent and i really don't know why. PS Thanks for all your mods.
So the subtitle plays but there's no audio? Is the plugin that you overwrote into the topic info's record (the one that became silent, I think it's "0009C8E1") saved in an ESL? If so, you may need to add an "Override Filename" to it. In case the voice file in question is the "0009C8E1_1.fuz" ("Please. You've got to help me!"), add Topic Info window >> Override Filename (it's on the right side, under Subtitle Priority) >> "0009C8E1" (without the quotes).
Yes only subtitles and yes, it's an ESL. I checked the fuz name in the BA2, it's the same "0009C8E1_1". CK should warn you when you can't save in ESL right ? Do you think that the ID is already used by another dialogue or the esl flag messed with it ? that's why you recommend overriding the filename ?
For some reason if you override a vanilla topic info into an ESL, the NPC may fail to say that line. You can fix it by either using an ESP or overriding the filename in the topic info window.
Thanks for the tip, i'll keep that in mind, but i remade the esl from scratch and it worked. If it happens again, i will override the file name or maybe use an ESP flagged ESl (if it works)
I just came back here to tell you that "override filename" tip saved me a lot of trouble with ESL flagged plugins that randomly mute dialogues. Thanks again. I didn't know what to do until i remembered this conversation.

Exactly what I was looking for, I can't describe how dissapointed I was when I saw that Bethesda hadn't bothered to make it so that Scribes and Squires didn't get in the vertibird but ran along the ground beneath you. That was so stupid thanks for fixing it.

I just joined the BOS for the first time and tried to use a vertibird to bring a squire across the map, I was sad to find out he died running on the ground! Really happy to see that this mod exists, thank you!
Hello LarannKiar, thanks for this mod, works fine with vanilla vertibirds. But maybe your mod don't work with mod-vertibirds (i think that is what @masterhamper wanted to ask in the first post). I only use Private Vertibird https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22450 instead of the magic vanilla fast travel. And this mod works not with your mod No big problem, for info only...
Well, I don't think it works with mod added vertibirds.
In this mod, a handler quest listens to the vanilla Vertibird quest (called VFT). Mod added vertibirds don't use the VFT quest so this mod couldn't work with them.

.ESPFE (ESP Flagged ESL) = Similar to .ESL but still esp in nature.
I don't know if the file labelled "ESP" is flagged .esl. So it's up to you which one you want.
