Version 1.1
Fixed lighting issues caused by improper specular map formatting.
This mod adds the Brazilian IMBEL MD2 prototype SMG into the game. The MD-series of prototype SMGs were more or less variants of the MD-series of rifles (which are license-produced FALs chambered in 5.56), scaled down to SMG size and chambered in 9x19mm. 60% of the MD2's parts were interchangeable with the FAL or MD2 rifle.
(Technicality note: this was modeled more after the MD1 than the MD2; the most notable difference is the top-side charging handle, which was replaced by a normal left-side FAL handle on the MD2)
The MD2 in-game is similar to a slightly more powerful submachine gun with the fire rate of an assault rifle (~700 RPM), but limited to 20 (or 40) rounds per magazine. You can find it on Gunners and legendary enemies starting at level 20, and at vendors after level 25. There's also one legendary variant, in an abandoned house near Bunker Hill. It uses 10mm ammo (I didn't want to make three guns in a row use .45) and has different barrels, stocks, and magazines for customization.
