If you wish to have smoother shadow transitions, especially during sunrise and sunset where the update rate becomes apparent and somewhat jarring, edit these two entries:
fSunShadowUpdateTime=0 fSunUpdateThreshold=0
, under the [Display] section in your Fallout4.ini or Fallout4Custom.ini.
It makes them soft closeby, and you won't see them transit from sharp to soft, they're also further visible and perform reasonably well. I think they look way better than any other settings i have seen.
I have a GTX 1080 and i get 55~60fps mostly with these shadow settings with ENB. Without ENB i always have +60fps with this.
Love this mod as a sunset sky-holic but there's a problem on my end that can't be overlooked.
Horizon line turned to be too visible and unnatural...like a cutout edge of sky texture, little bit out of its place. Fiddled a bit with MCM menu with my sloppy understanding, but couldn't resolve.
My sets that possibly related:
NAC X Legacy Radiant Clouds And Fogs Darker Nights Ultra Exterior Lighting
I'm having issue with this mod where it would have a fog effect. Any idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm using Vivid Weather with Natural Bright Color and Summer addons if that matters. Here's a link showing what it looks like without and with this mod, https://imgur.com/a/rw6BB11.

But i SOLVED THIS ))
you need add to console (or you .bat star file)?
gr maxcascade 2
..for a test, you can try the value 1 (gr maxcascade 1), and it will cause exactly the same problem as you describe.
