I have to ask, due to nobody complaining about this: Does that mean the mod actually works? As in, can you actually randomly get Sentient Glowing One settlers? Because if so, I'm surprised that I was able to actually do that.
If you are using Mod Organizer, look on the right-hand side of the screen, there you will find a "Mod Index" column to search through, find the Glowing Settlers ESP and memorize the index number and bang, you are done.
If you use anything else, then sorry, I don't know.
Jesus, what a late reply, sorry about that. I believe that the glow effects are on the skin itself, making it rather hard to convert the green to yellow. If you want to do that, be my guest. It shouldn't be that hard to convert the skin textures using XEdit.
Oh, this is really exciting! I love ghouls (and The Slog)!
First thing I did was spawn a glowing settler and move him to the slog. You know what the first thing he did was? Start shooting the Mirelurks from the Commonwealth Livestock mod :(
Do you know if they're hostile to other things, such as creatures captured in cages? Or Minuteman patrols from We Are The Minutemen?
Huh, interesting. I'm gonna have to download the mod and assign the settler to that faction.
Edit 1/20/2021 6:07PM: Tested some things, and found out that the problem comes from Commonwealth Livestock, not my mod. To fix it, go into xEdit then open up "Commonwealth_Livestock.esp" > "Non-Player Character (Actor)" > "Workshop_LivestockMirelurk" and on the right screen, scroll down until you see the "Factions (Sorted)" tab, then right-click on it, and then "Add" then in the "Faction:" value add "GenericNPCFaction [FACT:000035DE]" without the quotes of course.
They probably won't. And here's why: glowing sentient ghouls were only added in Nuka World DLC. This would require to duplicate the entire race and its textures from the DLC itself, which is technically forbidden by Bethesda. Or make the glowing ghoul race from scratch, which would be rather pointless because it already exists in DLC.
Seriously, it's been 5 years since the game release. You had countless opportunities to get the DLCs on Steam sale. There's nothing bad with them, they greatly expand the game.
That would only be possible if I were to re-make the textures. The mod currently used Oswald the Outrages' skin texture. And I'm pretty sure it would be illegal for me to include those textures within this mod.
Edit: 1/20/2021 11:26 AM: DSP2003's reply didn't load in. Sorry 'bout that, lol. So yeah, basically what they said

Anyway, they will make a fine addition to The Slog!
