Right off the bat, I want to stress that it's still fairly rough, but it's mostly functional.
None of the plugins are fully compatible with Armorsmith Extended. I ran into the fewest amount of issues with the oldest available version of Armorsmith Extended., but there were still some issues; it's mostly with the Sturdy and Heavy armor that you may not get the full amounts that I intended.
Additionally, I can't seem to get any components from any of the Power Armor pieces; the frames are good, but I can't get anything from the pieces.
You need to clean your mods, this one has 5 dirty edits.

I figured out how to scrap modded power armor frames
To do this select the power armor frame with you console open ingame and type in "GetBaseObject" without the quotes to get the reference. Open up FO4Edit or a similar tool and load up all your mods. Make sure that Better Armor Scrap is loaded under all your power armor mods before doing so. Find the Better Armor Scrap esp and right click on it then click on add masters, select all aforementioned power armor mods and press okay. If it throws an error it means that Better Armor Scrap wasn't loaded after all your power armor mods so you will need to exit and fix your load order. Click the tiny plus button on the Better Armor Scrap box and find "formID list" and scroll until you find "Power Armor Frames scrap recipe" Right click the rectangle that says FormID's on the right hand section and add a new formID Now go find your power armor mod and click on the tabs until you find a "furniture" section, this is where all the power armor frame things are stored. Find and copy the editor id so for example "PowerArmorFurnitureGunnerNoHelmet" and go back to that empty form id you made and input it.
With the Fallout TV show bringing people back to Fallout 4 i can see this as a good opportunity to say this might need an update. defo once Bethesda drops their new items and such, as well as other mods that are now used as replacements for AE and AWCKR, more notable now the ECO LEO and NEO mods. wish you luck though if you dont decide to come back
Some Nuka World armor doesn't have increased scrap values for me. I have Better Armor Scrap-Ultimate Edition_ESL.esp installed and at the bottom of my load order, Disciples Strapped Right Arm only gives 1 Steel while Operators Heavy Left Leg gives a whole bunch of stuff as expected. Are some items just missing, or am I doing something wrong?
Getting so little from scrapping armor unmoddded felt like being robbed. This mod is so generous that you become the robber. Would normally have liked a better balanced approach, but since I'm starting a new game without performance damaging scrap mods - this will cover a bit of the loss. Thanks!
Yeah, I've been seriously considering dialing it back a bit on the scrap output. Once I get back into the game I'll probably do that, but lately, my interest in Fallout 4 has waned to the point of nonexistence.
Hey man, do you think adding this mod to your scrap list any time soon? Also, there is some random vanilla values are left in your mod like "Raider Left / Right Leg"s. They just gave me steel. :(
Any chance you could add the clothes the Feral's wear?
I use a mod that makes Super Mutants and Feral's drop their gear but despite the name 'Loot and Scrap' I can't scrap the feral gear. (Better yet if you think the mod is too antiquated I'd love your take on it and anything else that doesn't appear in death inventory by default.)
I played around with the keywords attached to the armor workbench, power armor station, and the PA pieces themselves, trying to make it possible to scrap them outside of a settlement, but the only way to do that would be removing the keywords attached to the pieces that make them functional as power armor; it would have rendered them unable to be attached to a PA frame.
It has long irritated me that scrapping armor gets you very little resources. Works great so far. It's now actually worth carrying otherwise useless junk like Raider Armor to the nearest armor workstation. Used it on an existing game and no issues at all. Looking forward to seeing how it changes game play on a new game.
I would like a version that gives less resources (some people are never happy :-) ). Maybe half the current levels. But that's not a criticism, just a personal preference.
I messed up on a few pieces of armor from Far Harbor; forgot to add them to the Form lists, somehow.
Additionally, I'll be uploading some alternate versions that would reflex the scrap you would get from armor made with the Armor Forge. They'll have the "AF" suffix. Let me know what you think.

I'm not having much luck with google.

I share your concern, actually.
The problem is the download page is already pretty cluttered.
