    Larann please mate look at all elevator situations, there are lot of problems with specifically BOS quests and the scribes NOT FOLLOWING close enough into the elevator, thus being left downstairs, and not being able to access the computers they are meant to access.
    This breaks the entire quest, I read on the i nternet that some people got so frustrated with it that they executed the scribes for insubordination haha.


    This is not just a problem with those quests, it is all over, followers do not get inside the elevators but then they do reapear later on which is ok (I guess)
    Any way to shorten the distance to the player once he or she enters the elevator ? can this be achieved with certain settings ?

      Vanilla elevators are actually navmeshed but followers still can't path into them sometimes. As for the follow distance in elevators, followers (companions, scribes, squires) usually use the AI package "FollowPlayer" that already has elevator-specific follow distances (min and max follow distance radius). Both are set to 0. This is why companions, when they can enter the elevator, may bump into the player. So unfortunately it has more to do with NPCs' pathing system, which is hardcoded in the EXE.

      Easy fix for the elevators:  Companion Whistle.  It just works.

    bruh this breaks precombines HARD

    I used to get a full 60 fps on neon flats now I get around 30-40

    EDIT: MY MISTAKE IT WASN'T THIS MOD HERE DUDES, THIS ONE IS CLEAN

      You can take a look at this mod in FO4Edit. It doesn't disable precombines.

      I saw you posted about broken precombines in the comments section of my other Neon Flats mod. That doesn't disable them either but please see my reply there.

      YEAH I'm very sorry about that, I did some testing with FO4edit and this mod here is not the culprit, it's the other one lmao
