Hello, doesn't BLD changes the health pools of every npc race? Won't reverting the damage back to vanilla values unbalance everything?

Yeah I am super confused why someone would want to revert these values but still use BLD...

Personally i use 'Realistic Survival Damage' to dodge this problem. In vanilla, difficulty values just make the player do less damage and take more, in RSD the values are equalized at like 2.5 or something, so it just makes the player do a lot more damage in general without needing the weapon tweaks.

Any idea what is required to get BLD working with the new ECO Redux?
Equipment and Crafting Overhaul (ECO) - Redux at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

So this means that we can use any Custom Weapon Mod from Nexus without having to patch it for BLD and it's gonna work?

Yes, but body shots won't do very much damage at all. So I'd recommend a damage multiplying mod along with this to circumvent that issue in a way.

What damage value do you recommend? 2x incoming damage and 2x outgoing damage?

It really depends, it depends on your weapon mods and preference. If you're in survival I could even recommend a range from 3x to 5x. Depends how realistic you're planning to go and what other difficulty mods you've got.

So, if I played with 3x-5x DMG multiplier in survival before.. I won't feel that much of a difference, right?

Sorry for late answering this but every custom weapons needs a custom patch for BLD because most weapons are marked On Hit to use the normal formula, since BLD changes the formula, every enemy will explode like Bloody Mess in one-two shoots, so you need to alter that, and because of that, this mod is not much of a help...

when you say all weapons, does that mean mod weapons too?

What BLD does is that it ups the base damage of vanilla weapons and lowers both perks and mods DMG increase, what it does is revert this change so mod weapons wont be weaker than the vanilla onees

Thanks for the patch! One minor issue that noticed in FO4Edit is a string name issue under Object Modification -> Weapon_Material_Default. I just copied the default names from the Fallout4.esm and it was a quick fix.

Thank you very much for posting this patch.

Does this mod also revert the melee weapons damage values?

First and foremost, thank you for this, I've tried many different mods instead of BLD cause of the patching process, but always seemed to come back to it
This makes it so much easier to use BLD.
I just had a question, since BLD has a Perk change thing, to lower the damage buffs from perks to work with the higher dmg of weapons from BLD, do we install that with your patch or not? since you're toning the damage back to vanilla I guess not?

Logically yes, you wouldn't install the perk change., but it's all personal preference.

Thanks for the mod; the cost of patching every weapon mod to BLD standards had become quite cumbersome for me, reverting to vanilla level is a simple yet elegant solution.

I have been trying to find a mod for a wound system, and they always seem to have other major changes (or just arent what I want), so thanks for getting rid of the main gripe I have with BLD XD
