sorry if this a dumb question but how does this work with the next gen update when the required mods Thematic and Practical and Settlement Objects Expansion Pack and Settlement Objects Expansion Pack aren't up to date, and they haven't been updated since 2017 and 2018?
In comments of those mods is mentioned that they work with next gen update. There should be no issue. I don't use next gen update so can not test that.
Just a simple question, because I have mods that make things much harder, and much easier for NPCs (and myself) to die- do the Brotherhood personnel at the outposts respawn if they die?
Apologies for my ignorance but I'm trying to make sense of the current update. Following previous conversations you're having it looks like the new update might have it that the outposts won't show up until after Shadow of Steel is completed? And now there are patrols to... just around the Outpost itself or between them?

Now, you need to finish Show No Mercy(Fort Strong) quest, then the Brotherhood had enough time to build the Outposts :) Save 5 for test. Yes, they are disabled and will not be accessible before you finish the quest.
Patrol is only one per Outpost, the Power armor soldier is patrolling around. I tried to link them between, but they are far away and soldiers aggro for example Gunner plaza(kill them or die).

Yes, activation quest. Maybe after quest Show No Mercy (Fort Strong).
You need to have clear settlement to transfer it, but once you make a blueprint you can build there again, watch the YT video mentioned in the mod page.
I could also add 4th outpost ( overkill ) near sanctuary between Thicket and Concord. https://fallout4map.com/
Hi, doing a BOS playthrough and I really love the idea of having small outposts or camps for the major factions of FO4 I already have minutemen cache & watchtowers for the MM Faction, and luckily I found your mod. The BOS doesn't really have proper outposts nor areas that they have control of except with the Cambridge PS, and that small forward camp near the glowing Sea. BOS is a major faction so it's really a bummer that they haven't established many outposts so I'm hoping to add your mod into my modlist. :)

I haven't used those and have been seeing quite a lot of bugs in their respective mod pages, I'm also wary to use those mods since it was last updated years ago.
I also use MM Brotherhood by winzorium for Prydwen and Airport changes while Look At Me - Brotherhood Of Steel Edition by S4iS3i for npc clothing instead of Ad Victoriam mod.

Yes, you need the 2 mods or there will be nothing in the game, all assets are from them. I only manipulate where they spawn in the world. They where created for settlements.
I would not worry about the bugs, I use them for years, only issue is load order. Only adding settlements objects, so mods that edit settlements can have conflicts.
They are not editing NPCs that I know. You can use any mod for NPCs or textures with this.

I recommend this mod for patrols: You And What Army?
If you want 1.3 version without the script, so you can activate this mod before BoS arrives, let me know.
It would also be cool if you unlock it as a prefab and can plonk one down on a Sanctuary foundation for example.

Question, why: Best to activate after Shadow of Steel quest ?
Just my recommendation, it will work also before. Soldiers will treat you like outsider and not a BoS soldier.
