Does this mod add any perks? For whatever reason, whenever I enable this mod specifically, I see hidden perks that no other level-up menu displays.
There is six new perks whenever I enable this mod, 3 "virtue" perks, and 3 "corruption" perks. The perks for "corruption are dark healing, infamous, and tainted. The perks for "virtue" are alpha, meditation and squad leader.
Not sure if it's displaying hidden perks/data from another mod or if this mod is adding these perks.
The whole menu mod is meant to display added perks from whatever source you installed into your game. In my case, the Tank Girl perk/augmentation of Dicky's Pinup winds up in the list.
Whether or not you will or should take ruthless advantage is strictly up to you.
This mod will reveal perks from mods that are not supposed to be selectable. I use LevelUpMenuEx instead. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28822
I'm struggling to add an SWF to a newly created perk, does anyone know how to do this? I want to add an existing one from the base game, to the new perk I create, but I'm a bit stuck.
Well, I can say the mod is maybe too compatible with cheat terminal. The cheat effects are listed in the level perks. Same with Better Companions' alt perks.
Weirdly enough, this mod seems to conflict with FallSouls.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Press TAB to open Pipboy 2. Press TAB to close Pipboy
Expected behavior: Pipboy closes and gameplay resumes
Observed behavior: This mod's perk menu opens instantly as if the Perk menu hotkey had been pressed.
Notes: Later, after the perk menu is closed, the pipboy is also lowered, so it's not like this mod is completely preventing the pipboy from closing. It's just opening the perk menu at the same time and interrupting it temporarily. Hotkeys have not been changed. The perk menu hotkey was marked as "T", not TAB. T was not pressed at any point. This mod seems to work flawlessly when FallSouls is not installed alongside it. Speculation: I suppose FallSouls could be triggering an event on PipboyClose that is being interpreted by BakaLevelUp as if the "Open perk menu" hotkey had been pressed. I'd understand if this bug is actually on FallSouls side and not BakaLevelUp's fault. Sadly that mod hasn't been updated in a while. I guess I'll just abandon FallSouls since other people are reporting miscellaneous bugs in their comment section. I tried looking at the mod's source code to see if it's fixable but it's completely arcane C++ stuff with pointers and whatnot.
Does the latest update support the mod-added/replacer perks or it only displays the vanilla perks only? I am thinking of using VAFS again and may want to ensure it does not brick the whole load order for my end.
I noticed there are a few in Thuggyverse and one in Crime and Punishment and Gun For Hire that are marked as playable=true, hidden=false, which causes them to appear in Baka Level Up Menu, but you can fix them by changing the flags. I'm not sure if I'm meant to set them as playable and hidden = true, or false though.

Edit: Nevermind, sorted it, eventually.
