In the cooking station. When you have the filter in the workshop inventory or your own inventory, you can make purified water in the cooking station, which will use the water filter as one of it's crafting components.
after getting the perk requirement to craft the water filter, i can only craft one piece at a time. when you craft more than one piece of it, it gets removed i dont know why.
I figured that one out: The newly created water filter is a junk item, and it's components are the requirements to build a water filter. So when you try to make a second filter, it breaks down the first one to use it's components. You'll want to drop the filter out of your inventory in a container beside your chem station after every filter you make, that way you can build up a supply of more than one.
Woah I've been looking for a mod like this for a WHILE, this is awesome! It's exactly what I wanted. I found water was wayyy too easy to obtain once you had a settlement. Do the water purifiers still create purified water? That was always make it so much easier and I hated that. And if they do, is there any way to stop them from building up inside the workshop for you to just take?
