Hello Evaman - I'm trying to add weight back in to these ammo's as with this mod installed, it reduces the weight of the nukes, fusion cores, etc. When I try doing this in FO4Edit - i'm able to edit the weight field, but it wont save. Any suggestions as far as how I can add weight back in for these ammo types, but keep them explosive?
edit* - was able to solve with help from FO4Edit dev, Zilav. - if anyone wants to know how to add weight back to these ammo types do the following:
"This value doesn't exist in old plugins. Load them in CK and save, then you can edit."
After searching for this mod for 8 hours thinking it didn't exist for fallout 4 I ended up just making it myself. Of course I find it afterwards ffs. lol
Oh, there it is. I remember being disappointed when I tried to make a trap for some difficult enemy by dropping a mini nuke and shooting at it a long time ago.
Is this mod author still active? trying to get this to work with the latest patch (1.5) and am not sure why it is not working. Looked at it in the latest FO4Edit and everything seems fine and no conflicts or anything strange but nothing explodes when i shoot it.
thanks for any advice.
Forget that I got it working.
for some reason this frelling game wasnt loading any of my plugins even though i have them all in my plugins.txt file and have had them all working and tested for some time. I had to use the mod menu in game to enable them all that way.
I was ingame playing the quest where you have to take nuke bombs from the fort full of supermutants. At the button floor i get 2 legendaries so i plan a perfect strategie placing mini nukes and misiles and mines in strategic positions so they can die all at same time..... when i start my plan and shot the mini bomb and nothing happend.... Well they rekt me so hard u.u
Agammamon, thanks for the suggestion. I might make that an optional file for download. Update: Even after altering the VATS option , I cant seem to get VATS to work with the ammo.
Nice work with this; I was in the process of creating my own plugin because my initial Nexus search didn't yield anything (I've always spelled it destructable, oops).
For your VATS targeting, you need to change the flag in the Projectile records; ie, grenades, mines(counted as PROJ once armed), missiles, nukes. Also, your unthrown/unarmed grenades and mines are categorized as weapons and need to be looked at as well.
Hah, not sure this can be done without geck, but if we could throw rounds like missiles/nukes with our own two hands as if they were a grenade but requiring either us or the enemy to shoot them, that would be mad fun. Awesome mod though.
Destructible ammo is a nice addition and fills a void in gameplay options. Beth decided to leave out remotely detonated C4 so that option for a sneak toon is out. Now at least we have a way to lay a trap and remotely detonate it when the bad guy patrols by.
The only drawback I see is that you need a line of site, but other than that this is a great addition to the game. Thanks!

Sorry for the mistake.

Oh, and is there a possibility of you being able to activate the VATS targeting option for ammo?
It'd be *wonderful* to spot some cryo rounds near a target and pop them off.
