An expansion of sorts, of TheIrontoads' Classic Radiation Poisoning. Fully reintroduces the classic radiation system of previous Fallout titles.
Like TheIrontoads' original mod, this mod adds Radiation Poisoning stages with debuffs from either the isometric (Fallout 1/2) or 3D (Fallout 3/NV) games. This mod also removes Fallout 4's mechanic in which accruing Rads reduces Max HP.
This mod replaces your HUDMenu.swf file so that it can display the Rads bar and HP bar correctly. I have created compatibility patches for various custom HUD mods that affect HUDMenu.swf, including DEF_UI, HUDFramework and HUD76, as well as the Vanilla HUD.
A scripted installer has been provided to help you choose the correct version of the mod.
Plugins are .esp marked as ESL, so they will not affect your Plugin limit.
Installation
Just download and install using your preferred manager tool.
Follow the scripted install to ensure you chose the correct swf and Rad system.
Load order is irrelevant; place wherever.
Usage
Effects are automatically applied when you start the game. Reaching the thresholds for each stage applies debuffs to your SPECIAL stats:
Fallout 1/2
150 rads - Minor Radiation Poisoning. -1 STR
300 rads - Advanced Radiation Poisoning. -1 STR, -1 AGI
450 rads - Critical Radiation Poisoning. -2 STR, -2 AGI, -1 END
600 rads - Deadly Radiation Poisoning. -4 STR, -5 AGI, -3 END. -3 PER, -3 CHR, -1 INT
1000+ rads - Lethal Radiation Poisoning. -6 STR, -5 PER, -5 END, -5 CHR, -3 INT, -6 AGL
Fallout 3/NV
200 rads - Minor Radiation Poisoning. -1 END.
400 rads - Advanced Radiation Poisoning. -2 END, -1 AGI
600 rads - Critical Radiation Poisoning. -3 END, -2 AGI, -1 STR
800 rads - Deadly Radiation Poisoning. -3 END, -2 AGI, -2 STR
1000 rads - Lethal Radiation Poisoning (Death).
If using the Fallout 1/2 system, you can accrue over 1000 Rads and still live. Like in those games you will have 3 in-game hours to reduce your radiation level below 1000 Rads before you finally succumb to the illness and die. (for balancing reasons, I reduced it to 3 hours instead of a full day)
The Fallout 3/NV system will instantly kill the player when they reach 1000 Rads.

Compatibility
This mod replaces the HUDMenu.swf to allow the HP bar to be visible if you accrue enough Rads to cover it. I have made compatibly patches for the most popular HUD mods including:
