I applied both of "Squat Sneak - Vanilla" and "Stand Straight idle", and the former one works perfectly, companions as well as player character.
Regarding Stand Straight idle mod, it also works well in case of companions, but I noticed that it is not applied to player character. I attached a link of captured images to compare (companion Cait VS. player). I wonder if this is normal or not.
No, companions use different animation sets for idles than the player, so what you suggesting (i.e. companions using new idles) is not possible (unless you modify companion behaviours through commands or edits). Even your screenshots show this btw, the player screenshot IS using the new idles animation, while Cait is not, what you are seeing is just her default idle. TL;DR: Everything is working as expected.
If you want to use the sneaking idles mod exclusively for women, installing DFS additionally in mod organizer doesn't solve everything, but rather, you should put this mod files in Discrete Female Skeleton\Meshes\Actors\CharacterAces\female instead of just installing this mod and DFS independently in mod organizer, right?
Absolutely not. There is no way to make the sneak idle exclusive to females. So, please don't put anything in the \female directory other than skeleton files.
I haven't tested it in vanilla environment, but it has some glitches on my end. Crouch animations do not have proper transition and happen instantly. Also adds weird stuttering to broken leg walking animation.
What do you mean by 'vanilla environment'? This does absolutely nothing to the transition animations, which are entirely separate files. The same goes for the other animations as well. The mod only modifies the idles (i.e. when you aren't actively moving), nothing else. You most likely have broken animations from another mod causing these issues.
Testing in vanilla environment means that there are no mods active (beside stuff like fo4se or unofficial patch) to make sure there are no incompatibilities. I've just tested it in vanilla environment to be sure, and while stuttering is gone, crouch transitions are still incorrect. No idea why it doesn't work properly. And with all mods enabled there are no animation conflicts possible because I don't have other animation mods.
If you say that it works on your machine I believe you. But weird things are happening on my end even in vanilla environment. Which means it might be related to game version and the latest patch.
I really have no clue. I literally uninstalled the mod mid game (I'm using MO2 btw) and in that save I'm stuck with that idle unarmed sneak, while a new fresh play, (correctly) has not that animation. It seems impossible even to me.
That's because whoever made that mesh removed the 'Foot' bones from it (only 'Toe' bones should be removed for high heels and platforms). It essentially removed the ability of the feet to bend or rotate.
I love these two idle motions. I would not be willing to play as a female player without this motion. Ver 1.1 has a better skirt shape but little more their feet apart. I prefer ver 1.0 because it is more girly, but I appreciate the increased options. Thanks for a great mod😊
