Not sure why, but I get two keys in Daisy's inventory and when I buy one it doesn't go to that basement hatch. I just buy the key and console that hatch open, and there never seems to be any further issue over ownership.
Also, one small note. If you are using the mod Place Anywhere be careful not to grab any walls in that basement or you will CTD. You can scrap them, but you can not grab them in workshop mode.
I wanted something like this for DC (very simple, small, not furnished), so I opened this mod in the CK to look how you did the workshop stuff. While I was looking at it, I noticed a second doormarker.
Why is there a door marker in the basement that leads to the exterior cell -25,-3 ? The hatch that leads into the basement is a regular door, so NPCs (followers, companions, ...) should be able to use it, so it can't be for that ...
Of course it's for NPCs. Altering the navmesh outside can lead to compatibility issues with other GN mods. Therefore a remote wilderness cell is being used
Something I should consider for my diamond city player home mod, I guess ...
But this is another example of how the game does not take distance into account for NPC travel. The exterior door is a long distance away from GN, but NPCs will teleport into there immediatley. (Walking from GN to that load door would take a few in game hours at least ...)
At last, I can roleplay as Daisy's deadbeat son who's been wasting his time with video games and anime down in the basement for the last 200 years.
That book that Daisy wants you to return to the library? It's a collection of Naruto manga that she wants out of her house in the vain hope that, without it, her loser kid might actually be motivated to go out and do something.
Seriously, though, this isn't a bad place to begin an alternate start roleplay.
This one didn't load into game for me either... like the Goodneighbor Apartment. It must be a conflict with the Depravity mod I'm guessing. It just doesn't load. Very strange. The "Better Coastal Waves" however, are totally awesome. I'll say it again... awesome.
