Removed the Non Specular flag from all the light sources.
This should make the wet effect more consistent, so all light sources should make your character wet now (Including sun and moon light). Keep in mind this effect relies on how rain mechanic works: so whenever you enter a cell(even when you start a game) the wet effect will take some time to be seen. i suggest using with this mod so the wetness is less intensive in world objects https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23389
That's an interesting development you made here. I personaly won't apply it because I don't want to mess with the lights, and I want to keep the mod the lightest as possible, but that sounds really promising, I think you are on to something that could be really great.
Using the edited plugin from deleted30902215 Is there another file besides the .esp that needs to be removed? In some areas the effect looks great, But in other areas it's waaay too overwhelming
I wish I had more knowledge on light sources before adding the mod
The version from deleted30902215 post, in the locked first thread, forth post. Works brilliantly for NacX? users, get sweaty in clear weather, get sweaty in Sunlight and Moonlight.
I think i found a little bug: When i load a save from Nuka World, the specular effect is just noticed coming from all light sources except the sun. In the same save, if i go to the commonwealth, the bug is persistent, but if i load my autosave (done by travel) the effect comes from everywhere as normal. Do you have any clue why is that?
Not at all. Does it comes from your modified version? If so, I can't do anything for you: I haven't touched the lights, and I refuse to do so (Also because I use others lgiths mods; maybe it is your issue too).
it does the same in both versions... I can only see the wet effect if im near to a light source like a lamp or a bonfire. That was actually the main reason i tried to mess with lights but even that is not enough. There seems to be some kind of bug between rain, wetness materials and nuka world.
i did this its just its conuses me i oft time have a hard tiem undrstanding tinsg ciseet its ays it makes thing clear weatehr doas ht mean it wont ever rain again is wht im asking like doa sit justs tright delet all rain
No, it won't stop the rain, but it will make it invisible. You will look wet as if you were under the rain, even even it doesn't rain, and when rain comes, it will be invisible.

Edit: Okay, I think it works, it's just a damp effect. Not the full shine of full wetness sadly.
