About the recoil: I strongly believe in laser shouldn't have any. While I can agree that it may affect the balance, but only slightly. I mean, it's not that hard to keep your conventional SMG on target in full auto, you just don't have to do it for this one, and that's the whole point of laser emitter. So no, I'm not adding the recoil to a laser gun.
About the 1.0b update: I believe I have fixed all "transparent" legendaries, but most likely fix won't work on existing saves because those glitched old legendaries has been already distributed. Two ways to fix on existing saves: 1st is to perform clean reinstall (disable AER15.esp, load game, save game, quit game, enable AER15.esp, load game, should work), but this way is "dirty". 2nd way is to attempt to relaunch legendaries distribution quest: - open console, type "help AER15 4 weap", remember the first two digits of the ID - type "resetquest XX008AFB" (XX will be two digits from previous step) - close the console and wait for a few seconds - open console and type "setstage XX008AFB 10" - done, check if it helps
About the missing attachments: There is a vanilla engine bug with custom attach points disappearing from workbench if the player have more than one instance of the weapon in inventory. Leave only the one you're going to modify before using workbench.
Just came here to say you literally ruined all other weapon mods for me with this gun. It is everything i want. The IFF Scope is so nice being able to change everything on the fly and also no recoil. I agree with you that it makes no sense for something that is essentially shooting light has a recoil. I only have one thing i would want added if you still exist. A thermal option would be nice or something of the sort. Other than that honestly a perfect mod.
So.. Did anyone else face a problem when all colored beams have only red muzzle sparkles effect? I've looked into the textures - there are plenty colors for all variations.. But my AER15 shoots, for example, blue main beam with red muzzle sparkles. Is it intended or ..? I have Fallout 4 NG latest version.
Further comments investigation points me to Hollywood Laser Bolts by flecked, this guy made particle muzzle effects for all colors. But now I need to dig into his .esp to return back long laser beams
Edit: Found solution) For anyone, who wants original AER15 beams and proper muzzle particle color - just edit in HWL - AER15.esp entry in Projectile group for each color DNAM - Data --> Type --> Beam (instead of missile). And replace back LaserRifleBeam'Color'.nifs (in Meshes\TheBigLidowski\AER15\Beams) with the original nifs from AER15 mod. Of course, you need to unpack archives. I hope this helps someone like me)
so i have a question about one of the options you gave us for spawning the gun into the game "full integration (all main factions, legendries, vendors)" since the way the FO4 gun system works on classing guns as pistoles and rifles does that mean each faction will have 2 version of the AER15 a pistole and a rifle version with diffrent damage values?
Hello! i would really love to use the AER15. But with ZEX4 skeleton FG, Fusion Girl and Body Talk 3 installed, it seems not to equip correctly. Player and even every NPC got it in hand, but can´t shoot. The weapon position seems broken with these mods.
The weapon is nice but, seriously the hell is wrong with the damage ? The weapons on auto deal as much damage as a semi-auto real weapon....Feels really bad to get one shot by unicorn magic....

so i have a problem: cant change the magnification. Even after i edit the file, it doesnt zoom, solutions?
Second: I'm not really a fan of some of the animations. Could you make a certain using the normal laser weapon animations? It's okay if not.
