About this mod

Lets you name and trade with some animals in your settlement. Works with junkyard dogs, mutant hounds, feral dogs, mutant wolves, Creation Club dogs (with CC dog patch in the Files section) and Brahmin! Does not require any DLC but will automatically work with Far Harbor and Wasteland Workshop if you have them installed.

How the mod works

  • Get the Barking Mad Dog Primer magazine from the Lexington Red Rocket to start the mod.
  • Animals need to be assigned to a settlement for the activation prompts to show.
  • Activate to trade, sneak to name, sneak and aim to restore name to default.
  • After you have named your animal, swing the cross-hair away and back to see the new name.
  • Names are randomly chosen from a list of 139 common dog names, names Codsworth can say, and some surprises



Supported animals

  • Junkyard Dogs bought from Gene or otherwise acquired
  • Wasteland Workshop tamed dogs, mutant hounds and feral dogs
  • Dogs, wolves and mutant hounds bought from Erickson in Far Harbor
  • Creation Club Dogs should be ignored, unless you get the patch for them in the Files section
  • As of v1.0.2 you can also name Brahmin in your settlement - names get chosen from a list of 99 special cow names!
