About this mod

Now you can respond to NPC's by pressing X and tell them your piece of mind!

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Does it bother you when NPC's say random things to you that you don't really care about? Ever wanted to tell Moe Cronin that he's a nutjob? Ever wanted to tell Preston to buzz off? Or perhaps you always felt the need to swear randomly? Now you can by pressing X and tell people your piece of mind!

Based on CDante's “Press X to Shaun” mod, this allows you to respond to NPC's by pressing X. Featuring 142 (custom) voicelines for both male and female players, each of these will play randomly so you can swear and insult people as much as you like!

Features:
  • 142 (custom) voicelines for both male and female players
  • Configurable hotkey. You can change the hotkey in “PressXtoRespondHotkeys.ini” under \Fallout 4\Data

Note:
If you use other mods that make use of FO4hotkeys, make sure to put my mod at the end of your load order. Open up the hotkeys.ini file of the other mod and add the following line, with X being the key of your choice:

X=cgf "pxts_dialoguequest.Respond"

FO4hotkeys supports assigning a hotkey to a controller. Check this link below to see a list of keybindings.

Incompatibilities:

Any mod that changes the player's voice.

Changelog:

V1.3
- Adds 22 additional voicelines

V1.2
- Now available with lip-sync!

V1.1
- Removed grumpy expression from player when commenting

V1.0
- Initial release

How to install:
Use a mod-manager like Nexus Mod Manager
OR

Extract the contents of the .zip file to your Fallout 4 data folder and enable PressXtoRespond.esp through a mod manager or enable it manually.

Issues:
– Replaces the PC saying stuff like "excellent" or "sweet" when picking up collectibles. I've looked into it but I can't figure out what's causing this, since no voicelines have been replaced; they were only added.
