Im gonna ignore any questions/problem that has already been solved/discussed in my other preset's comment section found in here unless its not to avoid repeating my self over and over again
BROWN FACE BUG -a very old glitch that still plaguing the commonwealth
What causes it? -when you have standard resolution face textures and high resolution face textures mixed together or for some unknown reason
My presets and its assets/required mods are all using standard resolution size textures, meaning if you have any, ANYTHING at all that is higher than standard resolution textures that is related to face it will likely cause a brown face bug
So here are the possible fixes that i know
*the old quick save and reload save method *when in looksmenu try resetting the face by moving/changing faceparts back and fort until the face changes back to normal *Uninstall anything high resolution face texture mods, like 2k/4k/8k/16k/over9000k face, hi poly face, Hi Resolution DLC etc. etc. (This will likely fix it but not 100%) *If for some unknown reason brown face still occurs even if you are now using standard resolution mods, try this: Brown Face Glitch Workaround, check the comment section too for possible other fixes *If you are still experiencing it, then there must be some left over mod files that are still left that the mod manager failed to remove other than that sorry to say that i dont have any more ideas HOW THE HELL it still exist in your game!
as for me, only the mods that are required in my presets are installed in my game, nothing more nothing else
I agree. This is the best preset recreation mod for this game ever.
But it does something even better. It takes Aloy's manly face from the original Horizon Zero Dawn game (this particular atypical look was a decision that HZD devs consciously made, it seems, due to the woke culture invading the gaming world; it looks like recent Horizon games make Aloy seem even more manly) and makes into this beautiful feminine version of Aloy that's so bewitching and natural looking. So this mod for Fallout4 is even better than all the Aloy face overhaul mods for the original Horizon Zero Dawn game itself!
Presets are .json files. They can't be made into a plugin. Just download it with MO2 or simply open the zip and move the .json to your SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets folder or create the parts you're missing if you don't have this string.
A few days back I was using Vortex and your preset(s) worked just fine. Now whether with NMM or manual installation, the presets, and I mean all your presets (that I have) not just this one, cause CTD whenever I try to load them. I tried presets by other authors and none of them seem to have this issue.
I can't exactly point my finger on anything specific as the cause. I think the only mod I added in that time gap which is related to faces is Eye Normal Map Fix. Could it be the cause? (have to see for myself I guess).
Edit: Disbled Normal map fix on a new save. CTDs persist. I really wonder what could be the cause. Gonna try disabling all face mods I guess.
Is this mod still working? I followed the instruction to the letter and still cant get anything but a greyed out preset button.
strangely enough, using this mod with another preset mod like https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30019?tab=posts greys out the preset button too once aloy plugin is enabled.
i figured out the fix, i had to manually copy your Aloy.json file in C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\fallout4\mods\Aloy Preset ONLY v2.5-46835-2-5-1597876611\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets over to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets to get it to show up in my preset menu.
I manually reinstalled F4SE to make sure it was up to date last night, but that still made no difference until i copied over the file manually.
It may be an issue with the vortex mod manager F4SE not detecting your presets. Vortex has got built in support of F4SE and automatically installs and checks for new updates and that may be why there may be so many comments on your other presets as well about people not being able to use them: they may be Vortex users like me.
Or not. It may just be a weird fluke with my looksmenu or something. Either way thanks for the fast replies and help Navy :)
