Is there any way to make the heartbeat playback at a static speed? sometimes it's slower, sometimes faster with an audio pitch change as well? Anyone know how to get rid of this distortion?
I haven't even downloaded this yet to play with it, but bruh, if you have a problem and return to edit your post, tell people what you did to solve it lol.
I'm getting an issue where its not working in my load order but I checked with fo4edit and theres no conflicts, has anyone else had this happen before?
I would check fo4edit again to see if there is any other mod that does anything with stimpaks. For instance, I have Flashy Advanced Needs installed, and that does conflict with the stimpak from this mod. I just edited the stimpak from Flashy's mod to point to the effect from this mod and it works like a charm.
For Horizon, put this in the patch section. Horizon overwrites the restoreHealthStimpak magic effect but it makes no changes. It's there to make sure no one messes with it but this will be fine.
I've found an interesting conflict pertaining to this mod and Delayed Stimpak Heal Rate. I'm guessing the way that mod achieves it's burst healing w/ falloff effect causes this mod to repeat the heartbeat audio effect, so when you inject yourself with a Stimpak, your heart goes nuts for a second before evening out. I don't know if I find it more or less immersive, lol.
If someone loves everything of this mod EXCEPT 'swoosh' sound, here is a solution: 1. Open up esp with FO4Edit 2. Locate 'StimpakHeartBeatSND' under Sound Descriptor 3. Change sound file route to 'data\Sound\FX\UI\UI_Health_Heartbeat_A_LP.wav' 4. Since the vanilla sound file is not optimized to this usage (might be loud), you'd better apply some Static Attenuation; I personally recommend somewhere around 6 5. Save and enjoy
