This mod has been merged into the Frost Official Updates (Redux) mod
, which will be released on the 28. November between 19:30 and 20:00 PM (Central European Time, CET)

Adds 6 (+1) new starting locations for FROST.
(The three original starting locations are also still there.)

The "canon" Access Tunnel" FROST start is to the right of the "Let Go" graffiti.
If this is your first time playing FROST, take this starting location.

The new starting locations:
  • Museum of Witchcraft
  • Train Car
  • Glowing Sea
  • Concord Civic Access
  • Natick
  • Basement near Malden
  • Secret Start (This start is for FROST veterans, and gives you the chance to
get really good gear early on. There is a catch though...)

What's the catch?
Spoiler:
Show

  • Museum: Deathclaw!
  • Train Car: You get a powerful "one-time-use" weapon and a gasmask. Use the weapon wisely!
  • Glowing Sea: From the "4th door" mod, only a little bit changed so that there isn't a
floating power armor directly in your face at the start. It is a slow
and more atmospheric start, because you need to go trough the glowing
sea in a drained power armor. This start is based on sheepswirl's "4th Door" mod for FROST.
  • Concord Civic Access: An easier start, the only catch is that you only get a bandana that
protects you a bit from the atmospheric radiation on the surface, but no
gas mask. You can either go to the surface, and try to kill some
survivors there to get a gas mask, or you can enter the subway system.
  • Natick: This dangerous area is surrounded by several deathclaws. Sneak past
them, or run trough he woods and use the environment wisely to escape
from the deathclaws. I've tested it several times, it is possible.
  • Basement: No real catch, but you start near several locations that are related to the storylines of FROST.

When updating this mod, please remove it first completely and then install it again (or use MO2's replace feature)

  • Naugrim04 (Creator of FROST), for giving advise on several of the starting locations.
  • Cameron McKinley for the Begin Again FROST Theme
