   Trashcan Carla is female and smokes...perhaps you should take a look at what animation files she uses.

      I suspect there's a normal smoking animation used by Carla, Ronnie Shaw, and male characters, and then there's a feminine smoking animation used by Curie, Desdemona, and Piper. (For example, notice that Ronnie Shaw holds her cigarette in front of her stomach, while Desdemona holds her cigarette near her right shoulder.) I'm pretty sure only the feminine smoking animation becomes bugged, and that seems to be the animation this mod replaces.
      
      I'm not the author, but as someone quite interested in seeing a functioning mod of this type, I'm testing to see if it works as advertised. I'll comment again here if I find any issues.
      
      EDIT: Nevermind, see my latest comment. It seems the mod doesn't work in its present form.

      I'm pretty sure it does. I've accompanied Piper from starting to max affinity with this mod enabled, and haven't seen her smoking animation once.
      
      EDIT: Nevermind, see my latest comment. It seems the mod doesn't work in its present form.
