If you want a beautiful Skyrim VR, fluid and with enough resources to install the mods you want, you have to go through the INI files.
Thanks to that, I managed to have a very clean Skyrim, without any blur, and very fluid. I even installed the physics for the characters and clothing so it works well
Skyrim VR?? I'm little confused I thought this was a Fallout 4 VR mod. My Skyrim VR works well I even have an ENB installed. I was hoping this mod would help Fallout 4 VR. None of the newer settlement mods (2020 and above) seem to work. This mod on paper looks to patch some compatibility issues. However, I can't install it. Since you asked your question in September and no one answered that's not a good sign. I'm glad you got Skyrim VR working well.
Ah sorry, I couldn't remember asking the question for Fallout 4 VR, I thought I was on the FPS Stabilizer page for Skyrim...
Sure enough, I'm having a big problem with Fallout 4 VR as well, and haven't managed to get anything worthwhile out of it even after trying a lot of mods.Since Skyim and Fallout share the same engine, I think it would be best to successfully optimize the INI files for VR...
Farting with mods is like playing Russian Rolette; you never know when the trigger goes off. Fallout VR is a bit finicky even compared to Skyrim VR so I'm treading lightly.
Albatar666 asked in September and still no reply. I've given up. It's a shame it looks like it could have helped but I can't worry about things I can't control.
This patch might fix compatibly issues I'm having with newer mods. Unfortunately, Fallout 4 VR FPS FIX (Fo4FI_FPS_fix) has been removed from Nexus. Without it I can not install this mod.
I don't understand how "Fo4FI_FPS_fix" https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/45360?tab=description .. is listed as required for this mod seeing "Fo4FI_FPS_fix" is only one plugin and it's overwritten this mod. Any ideas? Thanks ======= I believe this mod might cause some CTD if you’re using other mods that change the world. It basically just remake the pre-combs. But it was made for the vanilla game, so if you’re using other mods that change the landscape or add quests you might run into crashing, disappearing buildings Ect
hey i'm getting a ctd before loading the main menu, a few seconds after launching. If i disable the Fo4FI_FPS_fix.esp it starts up normally, here's my mod list: *DLCRobot.esm *DLCworkshop01.esm *DLCCoast.esm *DLCworkshop02.esm *DLCworkshop03.esm *DLCNukaWorld.esm *Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp *RDTG_BaseDowntownVROptimization.esp *RDTG_InteriorsVROptimization.esp *RDTG_FarHarborVROptimization.esp *RDTG_NukaWorldVROptimization.esp *RDTG_DLCCompatibility.esp *Fo4FI_FPS_fix.esp just installed the game & dlc today.
when i downloaded Fo4FI_FPS_fix i extracted the files, replaced the original esp with yours and installed it manually, should i install the mod again manually and then overwrite with vortex? thanks in advance
Hey Hey, Is it true unofficial fallout 4 patch breaks VR quests and causes CTD with workshops? Does this mod fix it? just looking for some reassurance before i install all the 2 required mods + this.
This mod patches a pancake FO4 mod to work in FO4VR. The mod it patches aims to fix precombines that FO4 DLC broke, resulting in significant potential FPS drops.
oh and here is the thread where this was being discussed. (https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4vr/comments/gvmknb/unofficial_fallout_4_patch_should_work_fine_if/) I will test tonight with a fresh save and report in.
So far I had none of those issues, I have seen people say that Unofficial patch breaks the first time you get out of the Vault but I do use SKK50's amazing Fast Start New Game (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/29227?tab=files) and had no such issue as it skips the tutorial section of the game.

use PRP instead https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46403 if you really need something like this
p.s. oh, my apologies, I somehow came to this page by accident in dec 2023 and thought that someone had revived a dead man. But it was me ^^
Fallout 4 VR FPS FIX (Fo4FI_FPS_fix) has been removed from Nexus.
Do you know how I can get it?
Did you ever find the Fallout 4 VR FPS FIX?

What does this mean?
That you probably didn't install at least one of the base mods this fix is for.
My guess is Fo4FI_FPS_fix.
