the Auto loot mod this was made for has been removed from nexus, can you please remake the mod for LOOTMAN - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42443
I think the proper file structure should be: Fallout 4- both .txt files Data ?MCM folder with contents
Might be wrong but it worked for me.
edit- don't use this unless you want to start a new game. The first lootable item is the vault 111 suit when you first enter. Starting after that point crashes the game. Whole lot more. Just follow instructions at bottom and download JPEXS: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41791?tab=description
Ah man, I was initially hoping this was a way to tweak auto loot's configs without using the holotape the MCM is just so much more intuitive for this sort of thing...
Replicating a holotape menu in an MCM menu would require messing about with the mods actual code, instead of merely triggering existing commands, and the autoloot menu is far too complex for my extremely modest skill set.
Someone came into my Discord exactly one month ago to ask questions about building an MCM menu for Auto Loot. I suggested they release their MCM addon as their own mod, so maybe you'll get your wish. (FYI: The reason why Auto Loot uses a holotape is because the mod was originally developed during the private CK beta, long long before F4SE and the MCM existed.)
Hi Fritz_T_Coyote, do not let vortex install. does not work. once I uninstalled it then redownloaded the file and performed a manual install it word golden.
Thanks so much for doing this mod. Its a time saver and just well thought out. Thumbs up man :)
Hi Fritz_T_Coyote, I'm a Vortex user, but not for FO4, I use Nexus Mod Manager for that. I tried to install the zip file as downloaded from Nexus using NMM and it ended up with all the files being in a directory called "Auto Loot Hotkeys for MCM" within the Data directory. (I.E. in "\Fallout 4\Data\Auto Loot Hotkeys for MCM\...")
So I unpacked the zip file to a temporary location, renamed the "Auto Loot Hotkeys for MCM" directory to Data, and moved the two text files up a level in the directory structure (I.E. so that they with the \Data directory.) Then rezipped the files. When I tried to install the new zip file the MCM files ended up in the correct location but the text files were not installed, so I manually copied them to the \Fallout 4 directory. (If my memory serves me correctly NMM is designed to not put anything to the \Fallout 4 directory though I'm not a 100% sure on that.) After that I fired up the game and checked that the MCM entry was there, and confirmed that hotkeys I set were turning the Auto Loot off and on.
Having to open the pip-boy to pause/resume Auto Loot has always been one of those minor irritations, and now thanks to you it's fixed.
So, Thank You.
PS. And of course Thank You to fireundubh for Auto Loot.

As for LootMan, the current version includes a toggle hotkey as one of the features that can be set up in its MCM menu.
Thank you for your interest in my little tweak.

I'll have to add the manual unpack workaround to the install instructions.
