These are gorgeous! I couldn't help notice though, in the screenshots, they seem to have some strange black "cracks"? by the lacrimal, I think it's called. Is that just on your side? I'm going to download anyway and see. Absolutely beautiful eyes.
I think (if its the spot I think you're talking about, by the pink inner corner of the eye? The lacrimal gland itself is more by the brow bone, I'm googling eye parts and it looks like you're maybe talking about the lacrimal caruncle) its just a matter of eyeball location. As I understand it, to make the heterochromia eyes, Kala had to make new eyeballs for them(? or something. they're not the same eyeballs as the non-heterochromia eyes, since with the heterochromia eyes the texture on each eye is different) so that the texture would land in the right spot (or something) for reasons I don't really understand (animation?) because I don't make mods. That's why there are a couple of different eye location options in the files. The black "cracks" you see are just where you can see around the (non-heterochromia) eyeballs a little bit in the screenshots - which are pretty zoomed in to show detail. I certainly haven't noticed them when playing. These are gorgeous eyes, thank you for making them kala <3 (I also love thane and your username) I just thought I'd reply in case anyone saw your comment and was like wait what I don't want cracked eyes
LOL oh dear, I didn't mean to say the eyes were cracked. It was just a detail I happened to notice and asked about it. The eyes are beautiful. No worries.
EDIT: Having looked up the anatomy, it's actually called the 'caruncle' which sounds painful. The caruncle and sclera are not aligned properly, causing that space you can see for example in screenshot 11.
These eyes are great but I wish there was a version that you gave an option to to use without Looks menu. Perhaps a "light" version with few in game options. Looks menu always gives me problems later in the game.
Thanks and sorry but I do not think I will be doing that, I am without a PC atm and I doubt once I get back to it I will feel like revisiting this mod but feel free to make your own esp for the colours you want ( Looksmenu is only needed for the heterochormia eye versions).
Thanks! I added a vanilla replacer under the main files, see gif for the eye colours chosen I tried to keep them close to the vanilla colours based on what I had.
