Ok, thanks for the feedback. Mods, such as the one you mentioned, that edit the vanilla world space and it's contents have to remove and rebuilt the vanilla precomb/previs data. This is the same for mods that allow the player to scrap assets inside settlements. These are also prone to breaking the precomb/previs data. Any mods that reference these vanilla data entries will of course be affected
Open the esp in xedit and remove the world space entry. This will fix the issue as it will remove the holotape world space data
You could also try moving the mod that edits the world space below the esp for this mod. Doing this will give the president to whichever mod is lowest in your load order
By chance have you tried moving Sanctuary Hills to the end of your load order? I had the same prob with Anom's Sanctuary Hills Overhaul, and vortex always puts it at the top of my load order but when I move it close to the very end the bridge and terrain problem disappear.
Never used xEdit before so wish me luck and as for the second thing asked, I have been playing around with the load order a little but I will try putting it at the bottom for extra context I'm using Do Your Damn Job Codsworth.
I recently downloaded this mod and im currrently loving it though I'm having an issue where the bridge in sanctuary is now blinking in and out of existence along with some of the land it's attached to and the statue on the other side of the river. I'm not quite sure what to do. I do know it's being caused by this mod but i dont want to be rid of it.
off the top of my head, you could try changing your load order to give specific files 'the last say' (lowest takes president), edit the esp to remove the story lady holotapes for this mod or just uninstall this mod
a side note; be cautious with your save file(s) when using any works that physically alter the vanilla world space and it's array of triggers
what happens with these types of mods is that the vanilla precombs/previs data is removed from the base game and repopulated (if done correctly) meaning, any mods that reference this edited vanilla previs data will obviously result in compatibility issues
Hey guys, if anyone see this, can we harvest the unofficial plant? Like if i plant a hubflower, it says it gives 2 unit of food. But will i be able to harvest the hubflower? It will go in my workshop?
I'm probably one of the few people who use this mod just for the Storylady tapes. I just installed the newest version recently, Romeo and Juliet played fine, but the Tom Thumb tape starts to play and then cuts off. Is that supposed to happen?
Apparently Buffout causes this problem if the BA2 archive limit fix is activated. When I turned it off, I could listen to the holotapes. At least in my game that archive limit fix affected a number of sounds, including those holotapes, outdoor rain, and some background weather sounds. Everything seems to be working fine now though after turning off that feature in Buffout.
You're talking about the magpie menu esp add-on. Make sure that you read the article linked on the files page or go directly to the article in the articles tab
Yes, there shouldn't be any issues with merging all four esp files together. Be aware though, any updates added would mean that you'd have to remake the merged file once more
Hi cVcNEX, I'm not asking about merging the optional files but compacting them individually to light plugins [esp-fe]. Should allow us mod users from filling up those esp limit
ESP marked ESL files have an Editor ID threshold, as in, you can't mark a file that has above a certain number of Editor ID entires. I'm not sure what that amount is so maybe look into that before you proceed. You might be better just merging the files into one anyway. Check the magpie menu article in the articles tab for info on merging plugins
So i was able to install every mod except cVc Dead Wasteland 6 DLC1. i keep getting this permission error do you know how to fix this?
EPERM: operation not permitted, stat 'C:\Users\nick\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\downloads\fallout4\cVc Dead Wasteland 6 - DLC1-43818-2-0-1615142921.zip' Error: EPERM: operation not permitted, stat 'C:\Users\nick\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\downloads\fallout4\cVc Dead Wasteland 6 - DLC1-43818-2-0-1615142921.zip'
how did i give vortex permission to go through the file?
I dont use mod managers, no idea how they work. I use the plugin text file to turn mods on and off. Check the Install/Update article here if you would like to know more about that
First and foremost, I have to say you have created a phenomenal mod. It shall be a permanent resident in my load order. Thank you for your hard work.
I'm sure this is a silly question, but I've looked everywhere for an answer to my issue. I've installed the, Dead Wasteland Blueprints, but can't seem to find any info on how to use them in-game. I've searched my pipboy inventory for a holotape and I've looked through the build menus and can't find anything there either. Is there something I've missed, like a magazine or holotape somewhere? How do I load the settlement blueprints?
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide with this issue.
I am playing the Xbox One verson of this mod right now, and IDK if this is the right place to report issues for that version, but some of the textures, namely the faded advertisements and the warning texts painted outside the Boston Common are all bugged out, likely due to the posters in the "ghost" category using the same texture. I also noticed that the Xbox One version hasn't been updated in a while, So if you end up porting 6.8 to the Xbox version, it might be a good idea to fix this. If it helps, i'm playing on Series X and the only other major worldspace-editing mods i have are America Rising 2 and Green in the Commonwealth.
Yes, the Xbox version must have cobwebs by now lol. There's a guy on our discord listing any issues with this version. An update will be added in the not too distant future

grab this - dead wasteland esp - google drive and move it into your data folder, overwriting the esp that's already in there
see if that gets rid of this issue that you're having
Anyway, thanks for letting me know. I couldn't get the sound to cut off over here during my test. That's why then
EPERM: operation not permitted, stat 'C:\Users\nick\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\downloads\fallout4\cVc Dead Wasteland 6 - DLC1-43818-2-0-1615142921.zip'

Maybe try asking in the mod manager forum?
