This mod was inspired from  Dorian Ertymexx's Books of Learning which is 100% compatible. 

Requires Nuka and Far Harbor DLC

Oh why oh why after 200 years of freezer burn can the sole survivor magically level up and know how to service a weapon, or have the ability to use VATS in a way others can not. Some will say its because your a Synth others will say because its a RPG and you have to do something with that XP. I say no to both of those (well maybe to the Synth), I say lazy unimmersive mechanics.

I present to you a new immersive way into leveling up "You Are NOT S.P.E.C.I.A.L." There are 68 perk books hand placed, in mostly interior cells that will unlock the ability to spend your perk points. No longer will you be able to conjure up the knowledge to upgrade armor, use fusion cores more effectively, know how to use an automatic weapon without training (looking at you Nora). You must now find and read a book to learn how do these things, your perk points represent you practice time and energy to put theoretical knowledge into real world functionality. Once you have read the book you may spend perk points as normal.

This will be the most immersive scavenger hunt you have ever been on. All books are in the commonwealth in lore friendly and level appropriate locations.

I modified the SPECIAL tree so in theory you can put points into any perk as low of level 5 as long as you have the book, and the required SPECIAL stat (this is hard coded into FO4 sorry can't change it). I also moved around some perks so they make more sense.

LUCK is no longer luck despite still being named it, in the level up menu (if anyone knows how to change that send me a message). Luck is now considered "Rooting" your Pip-Boy so you can access advance features (critical hit banker, grim reaper, four leaf VANS awareness).

Load after all other perks mods, or mods that alter perks. This will make minor changes to cells, nothing was deleted, just the books dropped and Havok'ed in. You may have to play around a bit with where things go with stuff like fog removers, or third rail overhauls/good neighbor overhauls
