I really enjoy and endorse this mod. It can be dry and a bit boring, but that is kind of the point (for me at least). I do notice that these pop up more frequently than my other load screens, it would be nice if there were some tool to configure load screen distribution frequency (or to custom pick and choose what is shown and what isnt, though I dont think I would want to remove any of the screens from this particular mod)
Also thanks for the link to Useful Loading Screens, these two are so far the best load screen enhancers I've seen. *endorsed*
Hey KrZny, thank you very much for your feedback your endorsement. That means a lot to me!
The mechanics for loading screens works like this: the game looks for loading screens that meat the current condition (location, player level, quest stages, etc.) and pick one loading screen from that pool. Since my loading screens have no condition to be displayed, they are almost any time in that pool so the chances are high to see them from time to time. The solution would be to implement a global value (=percentage) like in the loading screens from Automatron. It would even be possible to sort the loading screens into a handfull of categories so you could pick how much each type of group is displayed relative to the others and change values in the MCM.
I've taken notes and if I plan to update this mod, I try to implement it. No promises if and when though. I have not much time at the moment and so much awesome games to play right now.
Has anyone tried this with Automated Loadscreen Replacer? I would think all that is needed is to extract the images from BA2 into the directory Data/F4SE/Plugins/ALR_Backgrounds However, I am not sure. Thanks for any input.
Maybe you, or anyone reading this, would be an interested in adding a mod, or addition to this mod, that allows for the user to manually switch from load screen to load screen, or have a way to slow down or speed up the load screen switch time. I thought of this because I'm a slow reader and am not able to finish reading some of them fast enough; however, a lot of other people would appreciate this customization too. For example, fast readers or people that want to skip a load screen they have seen too many times.
