As of 14 August 2022 the LOST Patches will no longer be regularly updated. After nearly 3 years the time has come for us to start moving on to other projects and newer features in the modding community. I personally will not use a AWKCR VIS-G build anymore so what requires for me to keep maintaining this project would be just too much to handle and not exactly fun since I don't have in my load order.

A lot has been done to keep walking with the new and better item sorting implementations but at this point the results cannot be better than to use the possible combination of the suggested FallUI series.

It doesn't mean it is all gone and done but it will suffer a huge slow down in updates as we just keep this as maintenance status in the future. Concerning to requests of new patches that will be even more complicated to be accomplished. We all like to live our lives and it takes a lot of effort and time to produce more. However feel free to suggestions but don't expect a fast and stable result.

Reaper and I really appreciate all the support and endorsements giving to our crazy work. Big thanks to all of you that kept this insanity flowing and especially thanks to the mod authors out there that feed us with greatness!

PLEASE READ FIRST BEFORE REPORTING ISSUES!
    Spoiler:
    Show

-Due to the changes made to Fallout 4 and the Creation Kit in the recent official updates, its recommended to have the game patched to version 1.10.163 or more. CTDs may happen when using mods created with the updated version.

-Please read descriptions for extra mods or settings requirements information. We cannot help you otherwise.

-FOMODs will automatically select the mods you have. It needs to detect the exact name of the plugin and its extension, so please take in consideration that it will not recognize different ones.

-All patches are ESP flagged as ESL but easy to merge anyway by using xEdit or other tool of the kind.

-Typical Item Sorter Mod problem: Item not renamed/keep old tags:
"This problem exist for most weapons and apparel if you install/change the item sorting mod in an existing save game.
But this can be fixed with this tricks:

    1. Just drop the weapon/apparel and retake it. This should fix most naming problems. If not, try 2.
    2. Change it at a workbench. (Just change any part that change the name and change it back).
    3. If 1. and 2. don't work the item is unique and/or renamed. In this case, you must add the tag manually via workbench rename. Look in your item sorter DEF_INV_TAGS.xml for the matching keyword, than remove the old (if exists) and just type the tag before the item name, e.g. : "Pistole" to "[Pistole] Pistole" or maybe "[Ranged] Pistole".

TIP: Use FallUI Workbench to for easy tag assignment with one click. It shows a menu with all available icons direct in the game. (Can add and change existing icon tags).

Hint: De-favorite your item before. The favorite flag prevents item renaming."

    FOR MOD PATCHES REQUESTS:
    - Please check if the intended mod was requested already. Word searching in the forum can save time repeating replies.
    - Please provide the complete name and link from the mod you submit!
    - Small motivation description for the mod in question will be gladly appreciated!
    - Take consideration that we cannot cover every mod and that some may take too much effort to workaround.

Have a look and find support for multiple questions on the Collective Modding discord. I have my section at Mod Author HUB -Mortercotic-mods.
Thanks for your feedback and all the endorsements! Hope the LOST tweaks can improve your modding experience!

    EXTRA SUGGESTIONS!
If you use CCC its highly recommended to install "Creation Club Delayed" by CptCOOTS.
"This mod delays the start of each creation club quest until you are in a relevant location and prevents items from being auto added to your inventory by others. Works for ALL current Creation Club mods."

You may want to give a try to "Distributed DLC Leveled Lists" by Otellino.
"Distributed DLC Leveled Lists, or DDLL, is a script-based mod that dynamically looks at all DLC and CreationClub plugins you have enabled, and dynamically seeds their weapons and clothing throughout Fallout 4 at appropriate levels. Being script-based, DDLL has the benefit of not requiring specific DLCs and Creations, and not requiring you to create or used merged patches!"

If you have CC Faction Skins you may be interested in "CreationClub FactionSkins - Distributed" by LordAriakus.
"This is a lighweight mod, which uses the modcol feature of AWKCR to add some of the CreationClub Skins to the armors worn by Raiders, MinuteMan, RailRoad, BoS and Gunners."

If you use Armorsmith Extended check on "Armorsmith Extended - LOST AWKCR VIS-G Patches" by Aogara.
"A variety of AWKCR, VIS-G and AE patches that completes LOST AWKCR VIS-G Patches."

This may be a dumb question but I just want to make sure.

Are these patches ONLY for people who are using AWKCR, VIS-G, AND Def_UI together?

These would be useless for someone who’s only using AWKCR?

I have the same question. So many mods use this framework for AWKCR support, but I do not use DEF_UI or VIS-G (I use the original VIS since I didn't even know VIS-G existed), so I have no idea what would happen if I installed this.

Lost Mercenary Pack Patch.esp has some sort of keyword issue resulting in the inability to craft the backpacks, possibly other problems with the armor. You can track down the keyword issue pretty quick in FO4Edit. This is a pretty old issue as well because I hadn't updated since LOST 2.8 and only started playing again recently and even updated to 4.1.5 to make sure.

EDIT: Oh god it's not just that.
