For public consumption (I'm sure the author knows this already): Any "invisible" body parts are an armour addon issue. Armor Addons, in the game, are used to add additional intangible parts to armour whenever you equip a main suit (although that's still a slightly glib definition, because the main suit itself is also an armor addon). Armor Addons must be associated with each individual race that can wear them before they can be worn or appear -- which is why, e.g., Dogmeat can't wear leather chestpieces and children followers can't be equipped with any armour at all. If the armour addon doesn't match the target race, it will fail to render in game, or, if one of the armour parts out of the outfit does work, it might fall back to the default HumanRace for those parts that it doesn't.
I'm curious as to whether anyone has simply tried to swap all of the data as a direct replacement of the in-game GhoulRace? There's not really any need for the vanilla model or texture when the alternative is this good. I'm going to give it a whirl on my end.
[edit] Seems to be using different UV structure than vanilla, and both males and females seem to share the same body texture, so it could take more than a smidgeon of work. Heh, this is really, really hacky. I'm honestly really impressed by the amount of effort that went into the workaround here to get it working. =)
[edit2] Yep, with the variation in geometry, head parts, and face morphs, this will probably just crash as soon as it loads any vanilla ghoul, if it's a direct replacer. Damned shame. =)
Another issue with this mod in its current state is that every time you equip a ghoul settler with a new outfit, their inventory gets updated with a whole new set of items from the appropriate level list. If you keep changing their outfit they will just accrue more and more items each time you exit the trade screen
I'm on the CW discord right now where I reported this issue hopefully FriedTurkey gets back to me. This is a bit out of my scope of modding to fix alone but I suspect it to be a side effect of the way the arms are implemented in this mod.
Apart from that THIS IS THE BEST GHOUL MODEL/TEXTURE on the nexus by a million miles. That Ghouls Revamped mod is alright but this blows it out of the park with its incredibly detailed models. The upside to Ghouls Revamped is its just a texture replacement so its much, much, much easier to impliment than this mod. This mod requires a patch to work with any custom outfits you add in like Eli's Armor Compendium which is why so many people report missing limbs. Needs the keywords from the mod added to the outfit for the limbs to show up.
Awesome mod but it requires some updates. Barstow isn't changed.
For those who have missing limbs bug, try to install Randomized Diamond City Guards and load it after this mod. Somehow it fixes the problem, at least for me.
Hmmm, I had different problem, the limbs disappeared completely, but above solution fixed the problem. I guess you issue might be related to body replacer if you use any.
Fantastic find and share, thank you. I was moving it all around the load order and it seemed the clothing from the mod was causing an issue, I first noticed it with Slim the chem dealer in the city. After moving this mod and it's patches to the bottom of my load order and then enabling and loading the mod you mentioned above it 'fixed' Slims arms to the new texture.
I can confirm this works for some reason. I already had randomized DC guards installed and when I loaded it before this mod, I had missing arms and the ghouls would wear outfits from other mods (I'm using Better Settlers as well). Changing the load order fixed this mod. The ghouls had their arms but they went back to only vanilla outfits. The arms disappear on custom outfits because the outfits don't have the keywords this mod adds to the vanilla outfits.
The really really weird part is that randomized dc guards does NOT touch any of the same records as this mod
Then you type"slm 14" Change your face preset, save the game, close and open again, that's what made it work for me It doesn't work perfectly with every piece of clothing though

I must say the work on fallout 4 is good quality, ppl are getting better

But I have no idea if its safe to do this

Do this work eventually if we replace just the textures, not the nifs?
