Alright, so here's an absolutely crazy idea. If this cursed camera can make living people dead, what if it also did the reverse, so to speak?
Suppose it could animate those creepy mannequins. They could either be friendly or some kind of bloodthirsty abomination. It would mean that you might have to be extra careful about where you take your pictures. For instance, in the video you uploaded, snapping a pic next to the Fallon's mannequins could have dire consequences. Or the camera could be a new, tactical way to deal with those raiders who keep mannequins around their camp.
There could even be a tenuous logical connection you could use for the camera's lore. Cameras are used to take pictures of fashion models. Mannequins are used to display fashions. What if the evil power behind the camera loves the idea of swapping the dead for the living at a whim?.
Anywho, as I said, it's a totally off the wall idea that I have no idea how you'd implement. But you're the modder who made random objects explode, turned the rolling pin into a fun and viable weapon, and sent us on a hunt for literal Easter eggs. I figure it anyone has the will to do it, it's you. At the very least, perhaps my suggestion will inspire another crazy idea in you and we get to see the fruits of that.

Longtime fan. Question. would it be possible to create a similar mod but that could just take screen shots? Just for immersion. (just ignore rest if not interested: also would be great if could make so UI or however to change display HUD to be invisable when using camera...and 20 steps later a way to display these images in game, tho not sure how you could do that without messing with virtual install folder... dunno jus spit ballin, its been a dream of mine since using mods to find a functional GTA style camera system for FO4...shrug. ty for listening
It's work but I can tell what del's aiming at... making Piper a photojournalist. As it is, giving her a Cursed Camera as a weapon, if doable, would flip a few lids...
Haha! One of my first mods on New Vegas back in the days was Codac R9000 Camera, that did damage. That camera is in game normally in one of the quests, but it doesnt do damage. But because it works like a gun, it's very easy to modify to use as weapon. Your mod reminded me of my modded Codac R9000. So I'm gonna download this because nostalgia.
Thanks you for all your amazing mods ! I'm doing a detective rp playtrhought, and i would like to use this camera on crime scenes. Would it be possible to de-curse it , by making a non-deadly version of the camera please ?
