Regarding the companions - they have their modes of operations - e.g. attack on sight or wait for fight to begin, and how far from you they should follow. There are key combinations available with mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11664 - FO4 Hotkeys. It's part of the game, because all companions respond to these commands, but I think it's a bit hidden without the mod.
Now, speaking of companion optimisation through bat - it is certainly possible, as there are actor values that affect resistance, speed, critical strike chance, reload speed and more. I think I'll play with it a little and then see if there is a point in changing companion values at all.
Thanks. I would love it if they could actually kill things as well as I can. Most times they just shoot at whatever but I end up killing almost everything thing or one in the area. They rarely kill anything it seems. Heck maybe do a variance of 50, 75 or 100% hit. Doesn't mean that hitting the target will kill it after all.
I actually messed up with the mod link - I think the one responsible for companion behaviour is this - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11784 It re-enables the tactics that were disabled by Bethesda for some (or no) reason.

Any chance of making a bat file to make companions shoot as well as me or even better? I hate doing all the killing and them missing everything.
Secondly, is it possible to make a bat file to make my gun more accurate and/or more destructive?
Thanks a lot for this collection of files. I know many will put them to great use

Thanks for whatever you can do
