Fear not random citizen, SpawnEngine should be released before the end of 2019. It's the spiritual successor to WotC, but they share only the common goal. SE by SMB92, is complete rewrite. That's enough shameless advertising =P
I love the effort. Some tweaks could be made, but it looks good.
I am looking forward to SpawnEngine being released. I downloaded the work in progress on discord and tried it out and it is really nice and stable for me. Hopefully I get attacked more when released lol. Thanks for your good work so far on it.
We never really got any love for making War of the Commonwealth, mainly grief, which is why we stopped working on it. I like the menu you have made for it.
That's a shame, after like a thousand hours of play yours is one of my favorites! Obviously being script heavy it sometimes conflicts or crashes but it adds so much more variety and conflict.
That's really sad to hear that one of the best mods for this game got left behind because of entitled, ungrateful mod users. They really do suck. Love your mod though! Really appreciate all the time you spent on it!
That sucks. Its an awesome mod, I had to turf it though because I was getting an error in the city cells of: .CSE_Spawnpoint_Control.OnCellAttach() and Cannot call getStageDone() on a None object, aborting function call
Dude WotC and FCOM are the only reason i regularly install Fallout 4 on my computer since 2016. I bought all Bethesda DLC's(and i still never played them) just to be able to make the switch from Commonwealth Spawns Extended. All it needed is a little polish to increase stability and maybe a nice little MCM like this. They should've made a game like this instead of F76 or Starfield.
And you say you didn't get love... Anything in top 20 pages for endorsements is a goddamn classic in my book and it's a shame it was abandoned.
From memory & the little poking of MCM's I've done, all I'd add is a Settings folder to go with the Config, and create a corresponding INI file, so the settings transfer between games [new game without one, you need to set everything back up].
Still, have wanted an MCM for WotC, so this'll be good :D
This mod was more of a one off thing of convenience for me. Coding, even the (VERY) basic coding I did, is boring and tedious to me. Part of my reason for releasing this is so that maybe someone could finish it up as I lack the patience to try to learn how to get the faction changing stuff to work as well as the opening tab. As such, I am afraid that I must decline your request. Sorry.
@Pallas7Athena: This yould be great. I have kicked WotC, because the mod is causing tons of crashes (too much incompatibilities), but please: MCM support for "NPC travel" would be great.
