They can either trough bugs or this: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/40000 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/837 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23573
Also, yes the font on the graves isn't that perfectly readable ingame but I only afterwards saw the issue and won't change it as the textures are kind of fixed.
I really like the idea, but can you make or add to this mod some more varied generic tombstones? I'd love to do a small update to the cemetery in Jamaica Plain. Thanks!
they dont for me either but you can spawn it through commands using console :) type help "[insert name here]'s grave 4 ACTI" then type "player.placeatme [ID of grave]" it'll uhh...might spawn crooked, so just straighten out your camera by looking up or down until the dot in the center of your screen seems to be eye level
I know you may not want to make one for nora or nate, but can you maybe consider adding something that has something saying that your wife or husband passed on one? and maybe one for mama murphy? (Someone suggested maybe writing beloved husband or wife down, great idea!)
This was my first thought as well, Icantstopmoddinghelp - good name. I remember the first time I learned to "glitch-build" I stuck Nora's ring in a toolbox then group selected it with a wooden post so I could "bury" something under the tree behind the house in Sanctuary. Made for the simplest of graves, but effective enough for RPing; although actual named gravestones for these characters would be awesome. Good mod idea El Ha, and thanks for sharing Zorkaz. Love these types of mods!
Thank you for the reply and heads up. Just downloaded a truck load of your mods the other day but haven't gotten around to trying them out just yet. They look awesome though, and appear to be the type that would fit seamlessly into my style of gameplay. If I get around to putting together those headstones (don't count on it) I'll let ya know - unless you meant for personal use only, which is understandable. No worries either way, I'm sure this mod is great as is. Until then, I have no problems taking a few moments to build small memorials for those npcs in game that aren't covered here. Thanks again!
Thanks for letting us know! I doubt you'll see too much posted by me anytime soon, but I appreciate that none-the-less. Thanks for your mods, and good-natured modding 'tude.
This is actually really sad... I can imagine the sole survivor, some old grey military man, just saluting at his followers graves years after the events of FO4. (I like how dogmeat got the biggest and fanciest grave.)
Also wait, did you say companions can DIE due to a bug?? That is incredibly worrying... how can this happen and does it effect mod companions?
Sorry for the ignorance, but I need to download the two files (.ESP and ESL)? I did with Vortex and I'm getting a file conflict message. Thank you for the attention! :)
No, you do NOT need both files! That's why your getting the conflict.
The .esp counts towards a plugin limit, that the game has and en .esl does not. In theory, have as many .esl's as you want!
Sorry I can't help you much more with the .esl's since I'm not actually using any of them yet but... Please do some research on how to use .esl's. The .esl is only needed/suggested as an alternative to .esp's if your maxing out your plugin count.
You need v1.10 or higher, of FO4, to be able to use .esl's. The mod managers also have to be up to date but I don't remember at which version they first brought in the .esl support. The .esl -plugin will/may behave differently, in the plugin list, from all the other .esp's... Like I said, please look for an .esl tutorial if you want to go with it. There are some here on the nexus.
This is so thoughtful and sweet. Touching the grave for a 20 minute boost is also a nice detail--like SS is inspired by the person. I don't have much room for it in my load order right now for it, but I'm downloading it anyway just to endorse it.
EDIT: Oh! I didn't realize there was an .esl! Well, screw that, I'm totally downloading this and installing it!

Well, Strong probably would approve of the simplicity...
I don't think so.
