I just wanted to drop a comment to say that this settlement does, in fact, work. I decided that I didn't really want to use the location after all, but I can confirm that happiness started at 50%, settlers can be moved from another settlement to this one, and they can be assigned to work objects and they correctly follow their assignments (ie they get right to the farming, etc). I didn't get any responses to the settlement beacon in my test period but I didn't wait very long and that can be pretty finicky. The reason that I was able to get it to work and the previous poster could not may have to do with which file I was using. Because I read the comments and guessed there were potential load order conflict issues, I downloaded the .esp so I could put it low in my load order and have it win any conflicts. YMMV if you use the .esl.
I'm running most of this user's other settlement mods except Beachmont (conflict with Salem Expanded) and have had them all work as they should.
Side note: there were no conflicts between the borders or anything else I could discern between this and Glitchfinder's We Can Live In - Rock Island Lighthouse. It was a nice short walk for a test to see if moving settlers worked, too.
Do you have other mods running that might have broken this one? I'd really like to try it instead of Weymouth Fore River Settlement which can be a bit hard to build around except with a game-breaking scrapping mod like Scrap Everything.
For Mirelurk’s Nest I never tried it on a clean save. But Beachmont never worked correctly for me. I still have Mirelurk’s Nest in my load order, the .esl. Just use it more like a player home.
Can you increase the range of your settlements? I'm using All Settlements Expanded and More Attackers, so i get used to settlements can be built so wide (a lot wider than vanilla ranges) and they can get a lot more functionality.
Where is the workbench at because I can't seem to build in the settlement? It looks really cool but no matter what I interact with or reload new old saves it doesn't allow me to build and I can't find the Workbench if there is one.
Hi there, the workbench is behind the stairs to the upper plateau. No idea why it does not work for you. I tested it with several savegames, even with a completely new one, and it worked fine. Maybe a mod-conflict, but that should not happen.

The only settlements mods I can get to work are Daylight's End and Lakeview Terrace.
