Power Armor voice is way too loud compared to everything else

The changelog for version 5.1beta includes this line: "Attempt to fix missing player voice after entering Walden Pond sewer (thanks to DeathByPewPew)".
So this fix probably won't work with PRP.esp. Below I will attach a screenshot from xEdit.

There is a patch for that in the files section.

Yeah, I have it in my load order. But the patch doesn't edit that cell. I mean the patch for PRP version 69.6.

Hey again Mortercotic. I see that you now have a PRP patch. Any chance you could also provide a .74 patch. I don't need it personally, but .74 is the current version and the only reason Ben hasn't made it "official" is because there aren't enough patches out for it yet.

I didn’t notice that was available and better to add patch. I will check on it. Maybe it’s even working with both versions.

EDIT: Got it! Users need to use one or the other as PRP update have different edits. Thanks for noticing!

I think it's this mod that changes volume based on if the player is facing the sound or not. But I find that sounds behind me are way too quiet. Distance should probably be the main factor. If someone right behind me says something, I should hear that better than someone in front who is standing farther away. What's the best way for me to tweak that?

Otherwise, love the mod ... I've been using it for a couple years now.

I don't think that's from this mod. Its probably from the vanilla itself. Try out without mods. I use earplugs and well, the game's sound system its not the best anyway lol

You could try the 3D sound mod, I feel like it enhances sound in this game a lot.

Is your acoustic and reverb plugin meant to replace RAO or use alongside it...?

Use one or the other, not both.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but it appears that you have removed a few patches.  I went to open the game and it said that some patches, such as the weather and more where that came from patches were removed.  Is that true or did I do something incorrectly?

Yes. that's true. But you can install those patches from the old version of this mod and install new one over.

I just can't have patches for everything, its management nightmare. I prefer to stay away from things that I don't use and focus time and effort on other stuff. Sorry but its something you can patch, its mostly about overwriting records.

Really love the work you put into this ( and also for the Mercenary Reinvention and Diamond City Guards), thanks for this! :)

I like the RAO Lite plugin, as for the creature sounds they are also very good as far as I realized in game, but the FEV Hound Howl seems to long, it will howl long time after I shot it^^

Hey there and thanks for your feedback!
Yeah I think the same, it is very experimental and I really want to adjust things and get more into it. Been lacking time and motivation to be honest :P

I didn't started yet but I will work on it. Love your mods! Your textures are amazing and it was cool to see that you got into audio and other stuff as well.

Any chance we can get a modular version without that awful screech from metal sliding doors? Good Lord it's so grating, I will try to edit it out myself its so bad. XD

      Here's what you do:

      1.) Download "Bethesda Archive Extractor"

2.) Extract all the folders from "LOST Audio Tweaks - Main.ba2"

3.) Find the extracted folders, navigate to "Sounds\FX" and delete the "DRS" folder. The whole folder.

4.) Repack the extracted folders into a ba2 using Archive2, replacing the original mod's .ba2 file while remembering to name the new file same as the old one.

5.) Enjoy a life free of horrific door noises.

Thank you for the solution! I like the wood door one so I'll just get rid of the metal stuff. :D

No need for the long process with BAE.

Just use Archive2, deleted the corresponding files from the archive, save and relaunch Fallout 4. Done.

You can do that? I thought Archive2 was only for packing archives.

Thank you for sharing this and kudos.  A couple years later, had no idea I could remove files directly like this with Archive2.  The doors were driving me bonkers.
