    Sounds fun on paper until you realise that even being lightly tickled by 1 pixel of basically any explosion is instadeath no matter hp and armor

    I ran into supermutant boss with rpg with 4 rocket clip and this is basically a hardlock. I thought may be I can just inhale every single drug in my inventory and simply outrun explosions, sure, I'll take SOME damage but I just have to get through right?

    Nope, the moment I saw on death cam that explosion that instakilled me on full hp was miles away I knew this mod has to go.

    It just kind of overtunes explosions to such ridiculous degree that every other weapon type is just pointless. And trying to run melee is elaborate suicide.

      I always like to see rage comments, I grew up in the halo 3 era and legendary difficulty with all three skulls to unlock one cosmetic item, Im sem-pro mlg if you get kill by a npc feels bad. im kidding you're great just rpg player.

    I'm not saying it's your mod doing it or anything but after installing it enemies killed using molotovs do not give me any xp.

      Indeed. The molotov acts now neutral. In the vanilla game, the molotov is your friend and does not harm you. With this mod you can burn yourself to death. I'll find a fix for that and upload soon.

      Did you ever figure out a fix for this? If I get a hit marker on an enemy and they die I receive XP however i throw a molotov and don't get a hit marker and they walk into the fire and die i don't. if it's a simple fix in FO4Edit if somebody could kindly tell me what it is i need to change it would be appreciated.

      He could have it do initial damage equal to the first tick of dot done by the moltov and quantum moltov. Or have it do some kind of initial damage that maybe a direct impact of a full glass bottle would do. Or the blast of a quantum grenade would initiate to release said flames

      This mod, I think, bastion has robco patcher I believe, this one does not.

    As much as I want to love this mod, the MASSIVE damage buff is just too much. Its immersion breaking. Im mostly fine with being one-shot by explosions, it does kinda make sense. And its true that IRL explosions bypass armor and cause devastation internal damage, but with this being a game, it just completely messes up the ballance.
    Like, Im trying to avoid putting any points into Explosives Expert, because I know that if I do, Ill just one-shot everything and it wont be fun anymore.

    I would really like an option to have all the cool features with vanilla damage.

    As of now, I dont want to use this mod anymore. Its just too much.

      It also renders the Dense Lining for armor useless. Cars explode when you look at them. It's definitely not a mod for everyone. If you want a more balanced vanilla with tweaks mod, don't use this. 

      However, if you have a serious NEEEEEED to blow everything to hell, this is your baby.

      Agreed entirely, much too much but a brilliant concept from an amazing modder. Just doesn't quite fit well at all with a survival run it's way too OP

    Is it intended for mines to take longer to explode now? It's almost impossible to use them on running enemies like FEV hounds, because it's just too fast for this longer trigger.

    Are frag grenades supposed to do 999 damage with this mod?

      No. If im not mistaken, they should be around 400-500 damage. The displayed Pip-Boy damage

      Okay, is it showing 999 damage because of max demolition expert?

      Level 4 demolition expert makes explosive damage times two so a grenade with 400-500 damage will (do the math) plus there are bobbleheads that increases explosive damage further so..

    It sounds like most of the ppl trying this mod love the concept in general but just don't like the damage buffed up that high. So there is probably an easy solution: could you make the damage done to enemies adjustable in the MCM??

    So in this mod's mcm, when it says "incoming damage," it is referring to how much damage is taken by the player but doesn't adjust how much damage is done to NPCs? Can someone confirm that this is or is not correct?

    Should I load Better explosives before or after Bastion? There's a conflict with:
    FXFireHitVisuals
    and
    FXFireHitVisualsMolotov

    In both, the conflicting file is:

    FireResist "Fire Resistance" [AVIF:000002E5]

    Bastion wants to change the above value to:

    EnergyResist "Energy Resistance" [AVIF:000002EB]
