Before anyone says something yes I know this isn't a literal replication preset of the popular character from that well-known movie and yes I also know she doesn't have the proper movie style makeup but I wasn't aiming for a literal translation, this Character preset is my own Fallout Beyond version of Jaylah and just like my other characters I always like to give them a little backstory. :)
New 1.2 Update - Fixes File Names, Adds New Busty Bodyslide Option and fixes face skin tone issue. My Apologies I had forgotten to include this fix in the last update.
HOW TO CREATE HER AS A CUSTOM COMPANION
Step 1 - Download and install Cheat Terminal. Step 2 - Find the Cheat Terminal Holotape in your Inventory misc tab Step 3 - In the holotape choose [Game Alterations] > [Companion Manipulation] > [Custom Companions] > Add Female Companion Step 4 - Stand in front of your custom companion Open Console and left click on the companion (this displays the companion's ID REF Code) Step 5 - While still in console type the following SLM xxxx then press enter (note where the xxxx is replaced with your companion ID REF Code) Step 6 - Click on Presets in the show looks menu - select Alien Beauty - Jaylah Character Preset and then press done to close SLM. Step 7 - Press Tilde key to close the console and you're done!
If you followed these simple steps you should now have your own commandable companion NPC and follower You could then use a mod like Give NPC a Name. for example to name your new companion
Hope this helps and you all enjoy using her for your playthroughs:)
Hello, this is a great looking preset, I have a question about the long gun/rifle that you have in the photos, could you please let me know what mod it is from? It is a really cool looking weapon.
I'm having trouble getting the face to show properly. It's a different skin color than the rest of her body. Her body is white, but her face is a skin tone from one of the default or vanilla faces. Everything else looks great and works properly.
This is usually an issue attributed to another face or skin mod overriding the FSM Skin Texture set. This can be easily fixed by ensuring that FSM Skin Set overrides everything else. NO other skin mod should be used on top of this,The reason for this is because FSM includes both face and body textures and so no other body textures are required for any of my presets. This was a deliberate choice on my part for any of my character creations as FSM offers one of the lightest and realistic skin tones on the nexus which was perfect for creating the almost white pale skin tone you see in the pictures.
For this reason, I recommend you set FSM skin set as your default skin set in your load order. If this doesn't work try purging all your skin texture mods if you have others, Then reinstall FSM skin textures with Valkyrie Face options selected.Do not choose any other face options during the installer process otherwise, it will not work. (important note - Also do not update to the newer 2.1 Valkyr standalone face texture pack coz the face textures from that pack were a slightly darker and updated complexion than what the original Valkyr face textures included in FSM.)
Reason being coz this preset was not made for or based on any of the alternate or newer textures sets and installing them could and will produce mixed results that differ from the original character preset settings. I hope that info helps. :)
I was playing the game I did found the ship was on fire I did not counter any Aliens crash Landed, I stay with Nexus Mod Manger because I can run Bodyslide Vortex does not have it setup with files I run or mods. Cool Character
OOoh, there only is one alien in the game which you found as you said The occupant alien of the said ship can be found in a nearby cave by that crashed ship, Where you can shoot him and take his coat so you can Ninja his Alien Blaster.
But In order to have some sort of alien invasion for to RP as I have outlined in my character's backstory. you would need to RP that yourself by installing a great mod like Alien Encampments. It adds various alien spawn camps in the Commonwealth.
Also just so you know Bodyslide can easily set up and run from Vortex the same way you had to do it with the old nexus manager.
Yes, you're correct and the details of what I used is on the front page description :)
But basically, I just used the outfit and two weapon mods for the photos. I actually didn't need to do anything to Eli's outfit mashup, as it already looked like something jaylah would wear. So all I had to do was install a couple of suitable weapon mods for the character :)
Ooh yeah, and the only thing I added to the outfit was a holstered pistol on her thigh. you can use easygirl oufits pack for that or armorsmith extended also has wearable weapons.
Thank you, Shady, well there might be one way if you use Vortex mod manager you can create a new game profile for fallout 4 and under said profile switch off the offending mods that are causing issues for you being able to change appearance. That way you can keep your existing save and load order as is and just swap between a clean load order profile fallout vs your slightly bugged game profile... just a suggestion of course :)
Yep, thanks for that! It's fixed, I tend to rely on stupid spell checker a little too much at times, I don't always check, I am pretty sure I typed that correctly the first time around though but of course, Grammarly is not always 100 percent correct about sentence changes lol.
Lol, I edit copy for a living so I'm overly triggered by this sort of thing. You did have it correct in the main description. I'm glad you took it in the spirit it was meant :D Like the design!
Hehe no problem at all,I appreciate it, I'd rather someone tells me if there was a grammar mistake or typo then to look like a complete tosser to the entire interwebs lol
