- armour hopper: pulls armour and clothing out of the workshop and any linked workshops. Useful if you have some machine that can break them apart, or just to move them from other workshops to your location
- weapons hopper: same thing, except for weapons
- remote ammo hopper: will pull any ammo from OTHER linked settlements to your location, but never from the current settlement. Useful if you need to shift a ton of nuka-nukes from other workshops to your location in survival mode. Or just to make sure you didn't forget about some ammo you left in some settlement.
All three have the same blacklist functionality as the 3.0 junk hopper. I.e., any items put directly into the hopper's inventory will tell it NOT to pull those items from workshops. E.g., if you don't want the bulky robot armour chests pulled, put a robot armour chest in the hopper.
Cannot get the junk hopper to pull items. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've tried putting it adjacent to the workshop, in different settlements, etc, but no luck. Wondering if the recent update and this mods reliance on F4SE, that it no longer works?
Great mod, ME was driving me crazy with the whitelist for junk. The only problem i have is as soon as the Junk Hopper drops an enhanced targeting card = instant CTD. Took me hours to figure that out and i really don't understand.
#edit Cigarette carton is the next item that CTD's me if dropped.
One of my favorite mods, endorsed! Since a lot of people are raising issues with existing saves: I added this to an EXISTING SAVE and can confirm the Junk Hopper works perfectly!!!
So at least with the Junk Hopper, if you're having issues, it shouldn't be the mod itself causing problems, it should be an issue with conflicts in your saves with other mods. For reference of my load order, I have a modlist of 140+ and load this quite late at around 130th, and loaded after Manufacturing Extended. I never tested other parts and don't intend to since all I wanted was the Junk Hopper: - Pulls out of local workshops perfectly - Pulls out of linked workshops perfectly with no delay (surprisingly, since Manufacturing Extended's extractors have delay issues with linked WS) - Blacklist/filter feature works perfectly This was the missing piece in Manufacturing Extended to scrap all junk into components. 10/10.

So there hasn't been a post here in a year but i will try anyway. Can you or can you not add this to an already existing game? Seems to be conflicting comments though anyone saying it has to be a new save has no responses. I just want the junk extractor. I hate how you have to put copies of a junk item in the other extractor (from manuf. extended) to get it to work. I want my machine pulling any junk that goes in the warehouse out and into my system
The problem with the junk hopper is not taking components... And consequently do not solve the problem of the components limit the settlers can scavenge.
The problem is solved by using Better Manufacturing that give a Only Linked version Another more easy way is to use Idek Logistic Desk 2 with ou without Sim Settlements. Idek can be set via terminal to retrieve all workshop item and send them to a selected workshop.
This is clearly a complement to Better Manufacturing, useful for when you don't want the machine to go through thousands of units of wood, steel, bone etc just to pull out whatever junk hasn't been broken down to components yet.
I can totally confirm that this is NOT working. Only pulls one piece of junk every 4-5 seconds at best. it does have the odd moment that it will work properly but that never last long before slowing down again.
You mean it isnt working on your settup! I am 10 hours in with my current game, everything updated and it IS running fine. I have also had this mod installed for months and never seen that behaviour. Only issue I have ever had is that on one playthrough it always crashed the game if multiple gold watches went through.
I can totally confirm that this is working. I'm using f4se 0.0.6.20 though, not thinking of updating because all the mods I'm using works just fine with this version. Thanks for this very convenient mod :D
is this mod dead? it doesnt seem to be working for me. I set up the junk hopper and connected it to a conveyor storage, put 5 aluminum cans in my workshop and nothing came out, waited probably 2 mins and nothing. went to my other settlements and put in some junk items (not components) and then went back to my main settlement to see if anything came out the hopper. I didnt put anything in the hopper so nothing should be black listed.
