Seems likely to cause major issues. I do look forward to someday expanding a settlement onto the vault 111 hill. I want the vault to be within my base!!! =P
there is a mod on the nexus that allows you to build at the site of vault 111 and in side of the vault as i have tried but in side the vault all i could get to build is the turrets and thats it which i was gutted about cos i wanted a base it the vault im sorry but i cant find the name of the mod as i no longer have it
Comment is six months old, but wanted to reply anyway: Build High - Expanded Settlements has the area of quite a few settlements enlarged. Sanctuary Hills comprises the complete island, plus the exterior terrain of Vault 111 as well... Here it is: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3528/?
TY but you write wrong command. NOT ( addformtoformlist ) (the id of the location of my place) (1d98e2) BUT [AddFormToFormList FormListID:ref FormID:ref] addformtoformlist 1d98e2 (the id of the location of my place)
It's won't work cause all vanilla locations with Workbenches has atleast 1 of this keywords: LocTypeSettlement, LocTypeWorkshop or LocTypeWorkshopSettlement. Workshop has own parameters: WorkshopLinkSandbox, WorkshopLinkContainer, WorkshopLinkCenter and WorkshopLinkSpawn. And its linked to the location on which they stand. It's not so simple!
I'm searching in all functions and properties to find a way to change the name of the worshop position. My problem: - I moved the worshop of Sunshine Cooperative Camp at the top of Trinity Tower - I used the command of phrophet (addFormToFormList 1d98e2 1daf7) (to remove glitches I had with my big spaceship I build) - The name on the Pipboy for the camp changed for Commonwealth instead of Trinity Tower - I cannot move a settler to this camp because Commonwealth is not appearing in the list of the camps. With "ShowVars my" I obtain two variables myLocation and myMapMarker which are still pointing to Sunshine Cooperative ID.
Any Idea ? You talked about some parameters which I don't know how to see from the worshop. It's Keywords but I don't know how to see/edit them.
Ok thank you. I'll pass, I'm not enough familiar to this ^^. I'm passing more time on the console and mods than just playing. My base will stay free for now.
What happens if you change the location of the red rocket workshop for instance and then dismiss companions to that settlement? Will they wander to the old spot or the new one?

Your Very First Settlement - Vault 111 Exterior
Vault 111 Military Storage
Vault 111 Alternate Elevator
Settlement Medic Bot
All these Vault 111 location specific mods work well together. Just let LOOT sort them, above is my load order for them.
NOT
( addformtoformlist ) (the id of the location of my place) (1d98e2)
BUT
[AddFormToFormList FormListID:ref FormID:ref]
addformtoformlist 1d98e2 (the id of the location of my place)
