it seems no one has reported the same issue i have, with your mod installed old long fellows old cabin is clipping inside the one that this mod adds preventing npc's and me to enter help?
That's what happens when you visit an area then install a mod that significantly changes that area. Your save "remembers" the vanilla layout so it is rendered along with the modded version of the area. There is no way to clean your save, so, basically, the Longfellow cabin settlement is broken.. The only fix is to load a save from before your initial visit to the settlement area.
Have you tried installing the mod while in a Commonwealth (not Far Harbor) interior cell, waiting 24 hours in game, and then walking to Longfellow's Cabin (not fast traveling) from another Far Harbor cell? This *might* allow the game to rebuild the cell. It's worked for me when installing Clean and Simple settlement mods mid-game by jenncave.
For the record, mods that change/overhaul certain place that you have already visited tend to give problems like this as a result. Only thing you can do is: -Instal before you visit the place such mod is going to overhaul. -Go to a prior save where you have not visited yet the place such mod is going to overhaul.
And I can report this mod works well with the mod "Bridge to Far Harbor" that connects FH and Longfellow´s Island.
Looks perfect. I just recently spent a whole bunch of time building here and didn't like how it turned out. Just gives me an excuse to make a new character and start again... ^_^
Love the mod, it's an amazing improvement over the original cabin, and the player home is a nice added bonus. I did find one problem: the long weapon rack in the closet of the player home seems to be mounted facing the wall, so any weapon placed in it disappears and then the rack is no longer accessible from inside the room. I ended up turning off collisions to ghost through the wall and get Atom's Glory back from the other side. On a positive note, this will be incentive to finally download the C.K. and learn how to fix stuff myself ;)
Hi again, Welcome back! Totally loved what you did to the area as well as his home. This is again another must have and keep in the load order just like your Diamond City Overhaul. I only have on glitch in that the counter tops and dishes in the player home are purple so I think I am having a texture glitch or I may have to download the mod again and reinstall it. Thank you for making and sharing this as well as your return to Fallout. I always recommend your Diamond City Overhaul to anyone when I watch Twitch that plays a mod run Fallout and asks for suggestions for mods to install.
Hi Naholowaa! Thank you for your kindness. I’ll have a look at the counters etc when I get home from work and make sure the texture and material paths are right. Thank you for letting me know!
Hey! Really like your mod! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
I have the same issue as Naholowaa. I've reinstalled the mod but it didn't help. Maybe it has something to do with the textures resolution? I send you a picture of it.
Thank you for the image, Aranakis! Helped to pinpoint what it was. It wasn't the texture resolution, I just had the material path wrong! I've uploaded a fix in the file section. Please let me know if it works :) Thanks again!
Thank you so much! I was like like downloading and reinstalling as I thought it was just me as I have had this issue before with a weapon/armor pack and the authors said to download it again till it the textures show up. Thank you so much for fixing this and thank you Arankis for taking a photo of the problem as it didn't dawn on me to do that. Again thank you for all of your excellent creations and the attention to details that you put in to every single one. Still love my Coastal home, Diamond City of Course and now Old Father Christmas's little island settlement.
Yay!! I’m so glad it worked. Sorry about that. If I jack things from other mods I’ve made/am still working on, sometimes the paths get a bit mixed up in Nifskope and that’s how the purple happens. Thanks for understanding and enjoy! ^.^
Glad that it's working fine now for Naholowaa, but the fix just partially worked for me hehe, I'm still experiencing some textures issues inside the fridge!
What on Earth? Haha. The two textures are not even remotely related! Give me 5 and I'll send something to you via PM and you can let me know if that fixes the issues before I upload it :)
Hi I'm sorry But I did not understand. Where did you get these windows? Where did you get the wall with leaves? Where did you get the beams wrapped in rope? Does your mod add these items to the construction menu? What mod makes such trees?
Yes But there are indicated mods which have nothing to do with the construction. And, as I wrote, I did not understand where he took such elements for construction.
Firstly, I’m a she. Secondly, they are all vanilla items. The only other required mods are the DLCs. So I got them from the CK. The only mod that I would suggest getting is a vine retexture, but that is not compulsory. This mod doesn’t add items to the construction menu.. it is a remake of Longfellow’s house and adds a player home. As stated in the description :/
Beautiful work! I am in perpetual awe of your mad architectural and interior decor skills. Auspiciously timed release, too, what with this month's community screen-shooting theme...
Thank you!! And wow, that’s awesome! I had no idea that was a thing that happened here. I’ll have to keep an eye out and see what people do. I love seeing screens of the game :)
Hello there, cool work. Lovable interiors design {as a professional Designer I do appreciate that in a particular way}, awesome photography, a warm vibrant feel second to none... I can see and feel the female touch in all of it. I've seen your "Femshepping's Cliffside Player Home", not to speak about that Compendium of your talent which your "Diamond City Edit" overhaul {yeah... I use that word, I do love sapient overhauls!}, and since comments there are disabled I take the chance here to celebrate your work: it's simply astonishing! I can see your love and passion for Architecture and I'm very happy someone brought Architecture Masters into Fallout 4, You're a pure talent.
It's all perfect... I simply wish there was the chance to get an .ESL version of your works. Player's homes are always the first to get cut off from the modslist when we have to save .ESP files places in our loadorder.
All I can say, at the end of the day, is... Thanks so much Ellen... and all the best wishes for you to keep it going. Well done!!!
You’ve made my day, thank you so much! I’m really glad you like my stuff! I’m happy for someone else to make an ESL of my mods and post it, as I’m just a little unsure how to do that! Thank you again :)

I feel your pain. I originally tried to build the settlement in game and I was like AHHHHHHH to the CK this goes. Hope you enjoy it :)

There are no walls with leaves in the original.
There are no such windows with blinds in the original.
There are no posts with ropes in the original.
Or did I miss something?
Maybe I misunderstood something, English is not my native language
Sorry, once again, for stupid questions. I really liked these elements and I hoped that your mod adds them to the construction menu.
Thank you for the clarification
Sorry for obsession
