[sounds of skeletons playing their ribs like xylophones in the distance]

Do you hear that xylophone? Feel the autumn chill in the air? Smell the pumpkin spice? Well, I guess that means that it's almost Halloween as I write this - my favorite time of the year! Better blast some bone-chilling bangers and bomb some bandits with big booms in Fallout, bud. I have just the thing. Please, follow me into my lab, I've been working on something. Hours and hours of curating the necessary parts, clipping, trimming, and stitching has all lead up to this. Go ahead, get closer... Lift the sheet, and reveal -

[sound of thunder outta nowheres!]

[sound of Monsters Mashing]

If you have any suggestions or favorites please leave a comment! It was the season of Halloween when the bombs fell in Fallout lore so this might be the most lore-friendly radio mod out there! I don't want to spoil all the surprises but here is a sneak peek at the tracklist before you play:

HOW DO I INSTALL THIS BAD BOY I NEED SPOOPY MUSIC NOW?!

Spoiler:
Show

NMM: Use Nexus Mod Manager to download and activate the mod.

ESL version: After you install it with NMM you must close NMM then reopen it to enable the ESL in the plugins list. NMM doesn't detect ESLs until it is restarted.

Manual Installation: Unzip the archive and paste the included Data folder into your main Fallout 4 folder, where Fallout4.exe is. The path should look like:

Data\Sound\fx\MUS\radio\SpookyScaryRadio

The station should show up in your Pip-Boy!

To uninstall without NMM just delete the folder and the plugin.

Don't want the retextures? :( There's a texture-free version in Optional Files.

* Keep curating!

* Possibly make food/radroach stuff into variants instead of retextures. New recipes and/or effects?

* Maybe make some posters buildable in your settlement.

* Long ways off but - maybe a ramshackle Radio Station location? Infested with Death's Head Radroaches, of course.

* Learn some of that voodoo Old World Radio uses.

* Get a spooky voice actor to announce stuff?

* Create a Quest of some kind? Finding old holotapes with scary stories maybe?

*  More SCP Foundation stuff? Notes, holotapes, a quest?

I amplified the volume while avoiding any audio clipping, did some noise/static reduction, smoothed some clicks, cut some of the extra long music stingers from classic trailers, reduced intro/outro silence and added fades, and various other edits. Work went into this! Any endorsement, tracking, comments or sharing really help motivate me to keep going!

Thanks to you, the modding community! Without you guys, this wouldn't be possible.
