Q: Do I need AWKCR? A: Only for the AWKCR Enhanced Edition. Standard Edition will work without it and provide maximum compatibility with everything as it uses the same skinning system as the Nuka World Raider gang paints.
Q: I have no two tone paints, why? A: AWKCR Enhanced Edition removes the Two Tone paint options in favor of dual slot customization so you can mix any two color combinations.
Q: Secondary Color swap slot not showing up with AWKCR Enhanced Edition. A: Most likely a Weapon Overhaul mod that was not properly updated to support the enhanced weapon paint framework introduced in AWKCR version 5.
Over 20 Thousand downloads and you are the first to have a problem installing. This isn't caused by anything I can fix. Likely something went wrong with your download, Delete and Try again.
My main weapon skin pack and Armor Skin pack have a non-AWKCR versions. Though for the Armor skins I used the colorswap Modcol frameworks added by AWKCR, so it is needed if you want the Armor skins to spawn on NPCs. I may likely also release a Lite version of my Vault Suit pack using the vanilla framework patched in for the Creation Club vault Suit customization.
Awesome stuff! Would you be able to add vault decals that they miss out (when the time comes)? I imagine "VT" Vault-Tec University will be missed since the said numbers 1 through 120. Another cool one would be 'Arcturus I Could all bit the VT one have children and security variants?
I'll definitely be adding decals for the Lite version. Should be simple enough to swap the Decals in my Vault suit pack to use the vanilla frameworks with some simple keyword swaps.
What will be next? I know that you'll be working on making a fix for the wetness, but other than that, are you planning on making camos for the other DLCs and vanilla weapons that have not been touched yet? Also, more camos for the other ones you already did would be great too, this pack has lot of interesting camos that would be cool to be used with the other weapons.
That would be pretty neat, if you can give us a hint on what you're doing, that'd be great, good luck!
I am working on an update to my main weapon skin mode that will include all the same camos this has for most of the base game guns. And this will eventually be merged into a DLC addon for that mod which will include paints for Radium Rifle, Lever Action and Western revolver. Most of the hard part of creating the Project files in GIMP are done, just need to finish exporting all the texture variants and then work on updating the plugin.
Great to hear! That is exactly what i've been looking for, i mean, your stuff is pretty neat, but i am especially interested in real army camos more than in materials such as gold or just a simple color. But the more we have, the better it is. Hope to see more camos also.
If i can make a suggestion for once you'll be done with what you're doing right now, it'd be pretty neat to see the Flecktarn camo for the weapons.
Oh by the way, are you planning to do the same with the armors/clothes? That would be pretty amazing. Good luck with the rest of the mod!
If you want some real world camos check out R97R's Camoflage Weapon Skins. I actually helped him with creating the textures and it does include a Flecktarn camo.
It doesn't add camos to every weapon because not every weapon supports the CC weapon paint framework. So adding skins to those weapons will conflict with or require either Gunmetal Weapon Skins or the enhanced Weapon paint framework added with AWKCR version 5. It adds skins to all the same weapons the Creation Club skins work for.
1. Love all this stuff. It's amazing how a new coat of paint can put a fresh spin on the vanilla arsenal. 2. Have you considered an option to color the wooden components of the rifle, or is it an unnecessary level of complexity to throw on top of the current two-tone system?
The wooden parts on the foregrip are handled by the same Texture and Material files as the barrel. So making that paintable separately from the rest of the gun would require .Nif level edits that would conflict with and animation replacer mods.

I can't install this mod, cause of broken file. I hope the mod author can help fix this issue

Could you point me to others that use Vanilla/Nuka-World/Creation Club framework?
