Attn CBBE Users: I had issues with CTD right after I would try to place a new mannequin. Make sure that AM is loaded after CBBE and any skin textures you may use. Works like a charm now, thanks!
@uvdata Also, those who have downloaded the cbbe knee fix for this mod and are experiencing CTDs when selecting female or armed mannequins take note: The reason is because the female mesh is missing. (I found that out by going into the CK and seeing that instead of the mesh there was that red diamond exclamation point thingy.) It turns out the culprit is the cbbe knee fix, which requires the Skeletal Adjustments for CBBE - Knee Fix - Legs for Days - 3BBB mod. Now what the knee fix does is redirect the mesh path to that of the skeletal adjustments mod. However, neither the game nor the CK are aware of this and try to look for it in the original directory. When I actually took the time to read the knee fix description I knew that would explain why the female mesh was missing, so I uninstalled the knee fix and the skeletal adjustments and PRESTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The female mesh shows up in the CK and no more CTDs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am having an issue with a conflict between Workshop Rearranged and animated mannequins. I completely removed my game and all mods (for testing) I have been using these mods together for month no issue just stopped working. The category for mannequins disappear when I install workshop rearranged. I removed all mods and fresh installed game. I started by installing workshop rearranged first then mannequins no dice reversed the two no dice. Mannequins work without workshop rearranged but I need it for several other mods so not sure what the issue is. Anyone have any advice?
I have the same problem. If this mod is in the order of loading above Workshop Rearranged, then there are no dummies. If you place this mod below Workshop Rearranged, then mannequins appear, but magazine racks and stands bobbieheads disappear.
yup that is how i ran my game for months I don't care about the magazine racks and stuff lol. I tried swapping load orders but ill mess with it some more I realized after what you said vortex was forcing workshop rearranged to load after mannequins that fixed my issue
I'm a month late, but the mannequins are in their own section in displays. Keep scrolling past armor racks and power armor displays and you should see 3 new menus for the mannequins.

Fun new problem to post here! Mannequins disappear over time. Place it and put stuff on it, walk away for a couple mins, come back and its gone along with what it was wearing. No idea how to fix, and author is clearly too lazy to support :\
how to change the pose of the armed mannequins? i only managed to change male and female, but i need the armed ones changed, since they're the only ones that can hold weapons.thank you
I never figured out how to change the armed mannequins, but I was able to get the regular mannequins to hold weapons (at least for my game).
1 - Using Fo4Edit, Load "AnimatedMannequins.esp" 2 - Go to "Package" 3 - Pick one of the files titled "DefMannequinF_###" or "DefMannequinM_###" 3a - For example, if you want to edit the second female model, choose "DefMannequinF_002" 4 - Next to "General Flags", right-click on the cell that says "Ignore Combat, Combat Alert" and click Edit 5 - Check box next to "Weapon Drawn" 6 - Exit and Save!
Now you can change the pose of the regular mannequins AND equip them with weapons!
Side note, the weapons don't seem to appear until the areas resets, so fast travel to the other side of the map, then fast travel back. Some weapons get buggy too (had an assault rifle that looked like it was falling out of their hand while testing, but reset itself when I fast traveled away and came back)
Again, this is how I got it to work on my game, so I hope this helps in yours!

It's at the end of deco IIRC, not inside the display racks (or if it is it's at the end of that one).
under armor racks i Just see the regular mannequins
unless it's under a different menu I'm not sure why it won't work any help is appreciated.
